| I was wondering, is episode 0 going to be included in the episode count for Nobunaga no Shinobi or is it going to have it's own entry? It's not included in the episodes if you go to videos on the MAL entry. I am confused. |
| It will be a separate entry and someone has already made a submission https://myanimelist.net/anime/34283 which is in the queue till a mod approves it. From the guidelines "Specials include: DVD/Blu-ray specials and introductory animation (pilots, prologues, episodes 00) which contain animation/voice acting not used in the parent show." All episode 0's get their own entry specifically to avoid confusing ep counts totals in a main entry. |

We've had lots of anime split to segregate the recaps or unaired specials that used to considered a part of the airing ep count too due to ignorance or lack of information. eg. https://myanimelist.net/anime/33713/Seihou_Bukyou_Outlaw_Star_Specials And ones also merged eg. https://myanimelist.net/anime/10479/Beelzebub_Specials this merged 3 special series into 1. IDK what multi eps without numbers has to do with the episode 0 issue. The database guidelines have a specific clause for episodes titled episode 0 so that's what has to be addressed. |
