Still a great show overall. It was kinda fast paced in my opinion. The only music anime I enjoyed after shigatsu.

Interesting topic! You see a bit of this theme in 'Skip Beat' with Shou/Kyoko/Reino/Ren (more so in the manga). ' Lovely Complex' ,nearing the end of the series,also dapples in the above theme.Though both are shoujo (albeit more comedic/self-discovery themed than your average shoujo imo) with female leads so dunno if it would fit.
