| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A pretty decent mahou shoujo in the end. I liked the characters even if they went a bit overboard with the ecchi at the start. Short and sweet. 7/10 |
| I liked her angel transformation! Okay so imo this series was just super mediocre. It doesn't seem like there was a whole lot of effort put into it, like the animation was pretty bad in a lot of places and whatnot. Chihaya's powers were just kinda boring, everything outside of purification is a beam of light, and sometimes the beam was stronger than other times. Chihaya supposedly had some kind of awakening, but like how that all happened wasn't really explained, she just kinda got cloudy eyes and suddenly became really powerful. The story and characters felt pretty underdeveloped too. Like, Emi was there in the beginning then forgotten in the middle then brought up in the end. Overall this gets a 5-7/10 from me. It wasn't horrible nor was it great, but I still enjoyed some parts of it. Sure it had some surprises, but overall there wasn't anything really too special about it |
