| Mixed feelings because I liked that ending, even though I wanted him to live. Hopefully its the exact same staff and story writer. I'm not jumping on the hype train just yet. Since they are having a recape movie in January this could air in summer or fall season possible. |
| On one hand, the Akito films killed my hopes for anything else good out of the series. On the other hand...Lelouch was the best thing out of the Akito films...and with a god writer on board...one can hope. |

| Interested to see how this plays out. Seems that all the theories about how Lelouch was still alive were real. I wonder who the new antagonists are. I find it hard to believe that Britannia is going to turn evil. I also wonder if this is a S3 or not. Sounds like a season 3 but they didn't say that. I don't want to get burned like I was with the Accel World Infinite Burst announcement. |

| I seriously don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, i'm happy beacuse one of my favourite animes gets a sequel. On the other hand, the show's ending was amazing, it feels like a sequel would ruin that. One thing is for sure though : 2017 will be a veeeeery interesting year. |

| When I saw someone posting a video about this in my YT subscription box, I was like, "WTF, there's no way this could be happening", I mean, as much as I want more Lelouch goodie, it's probably the best that we leave the franchise alone.. This kinda came out of nowhere. Regardless, I'll judge it after I watch it. It still smells like they're milking the cash cow though. |

| 1.Who gave V.V. his code in Code Geass, how did he become immortal?? 2. What is the origin of Geass, since when did it exist, because the first one known to us is the nun who gave her code to C.C. But somebody had to give the nun the code in the first place so geass is very old? Somebody had to give the nun the code , and that somebody had to receive the code from somebody else and so on? So what is the origin how old is geass? 3. Is it from an alien planet or something because some of the visions and memories of C.C. show another planet i think 4. And who built these ruins at Kamine Island, Charles only discovered them but some ancient civilization had to build them right ( again maybe aliens) as shown in visions and memories of C.C. |
| First my thoughts on this: There is excitement for sure, however, I share the similar sentiment that R2 ended on about as good a note as possible. I enjoyed the show through and through and hold it in high regards. My second thought: And I have no links or anything to back up what I'm about to say so I hope that this is something other fans are aware of, otherwise it was a pipe dream and I mixed fiction with reality. I want to say somewhere down the line that I had heard/read that R2 was drastically different from what Goro Taniguchi had initially envisioned. I'm not sure if that was a clash of ideas between Goro and Ichiro Okouchi. So assuming that what I did say was true, perhaps this new season/series is the ending that Goro initially wanted. And if that is the case I would be quite optimistic to see what direction Goro (assuming he is involved again) wants to take this series. |
