To be honest, if Sinbad's rukh had been in place from the beginning, all of this would've been avoided and the characters would've been fine with it. If Aladdin had been born under Sinbad's rukh instead of Solomon's, he wouldn't think twice about trusting Uncle Sinbad's decision. The only reason why the characters are offended is because it seems to be against their free will, but free will was previously limited by Solomon's rukh anyway - albeit in a different fashion.

The alternative would be that Sinbad's decision limits diversity and what not, but it would just be a clash of shallow ideals in that case, and Sinbad's logic would be perfectly reasonable. Actually, this is probably the best way of uniting the world - since a united world would obviously never withstand the test of time otherwise. The only issue would be how close this is to mind control, but it's pretty much introducing an additional shared hope alongside existing ones such as the basic desire for happiness and the need to create meaning. If human free will is delineated by these attributes, then it technically won't be against their free will.

Damn Sinbad don't give a fuck when they confronted him in that chair.

Grown up Aladdin sure has gotten more bad ass as well.

Is Sinbad immortal? Because that is the only way that his decision makes any sense. From what I can tell he fiddled around with the rukh and thus became everyone's idea king however, what happens when he dies? Doesn't the world just deteriorate? Unless of course through entering the sacred palace he became immortal also and would be king forever...kind of like David.

but one thing i want to clarify, is that solomon didn't really place his will, it was just that previously the world worked on black rook, which comes from negativity and solomon changed it to white rouk, which is from positive hope, is that really bad?
