Seeing this after the Actual Election is Cathartic

This show has always been something of an underrated gem to me based solely on how detailed the election process was. But now that the 2016 Election ended with Drumpf taking the oval office, the parallels throughout this show seem so uncanny. If Hillary was endorsing Trump against two Bernie Sanders, this would be the election story we all wanted.

Joking aside, what are your thoughts on this show now that the Trumpire is taking place?

I just started this anime yesterday but I feel that this would repeat the actual election

Although I voted for Gary Johnson and took the third party option, its nice to see the independant Oojima step it up to take the third option for this anime

Can't wait to see how this plays out but will update once I finish
