What the heck with that Summer Jokes book? Kanbayashi, just do some punch and... Oh wait, her curiosity already taking over her "anger". Oh well.

Those 3 books need an anime adaptation ;)

Shiori is right, too many idiots trying to downplay every single series.

Oh guys, Summers is the name of the writer of that joke book lol. They are comedians and the content in that book might be some Manzai (Japanese stand-up).

I don't mind reading a long book or series. It makes reading more enjoyable for me.

So I guess that Summers book was Japanese puns. I can't understand that stuff!

Yeah, I'm wondering that too. I mean, 5.69 and the series isn't even finished? I don't get it.

The general message of this episode hit a little close to home for me, since I'm the kind of person who tries to emotionally distance myself from the media I consume just so I'll be able to rate it objectively. But Shiori is right; all the best experiences I've ever had are with works that managed to move me emotionally. I should try to stop being so cynical and just let myself get immersed in them.

I wasn't expecting to get a little nugget of wisdom from this kind of gag series.

It's surprising Kanbanyashi didn't punch Bernard in this episode after suggesting the Bad Summer Jokes book.
There is no such thing as an Anime elitist. You watch Anime, therefore, you are trash by society's standards.

They're actually the comedy duo behind the Summers book. (:

As someone whose tried to read Proust, I sympathize with Bernard.
