| Im not sure if this would be the right place to post this, but this is what I wanted to do. Recently I've rediscovered the joy of watching something fun and entertaining, that provides a form of escapism from the stress of daily life. Usually action shounens do this, unfortunately, most of them are incomplete, inconsistent or downright bad. So, I wanted to compile this list, that I might post in my profile when I update it, with those truly well-made series, that aren't perfect but: They are consistent story and animation-wise, are complete, have none to barely any filler material, the narrative is good and keeps moving forward, and of course need to be thrilling. So I wanted to hear your recommendations for such a list. So far I have: - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009) - Hunter x Hunter (2011) - debatable, because it isn't actually complete, but it is good. - Yu Yu Hakusho - For a super power type of anime, it is surprisingly balanced. The story is not that strong, and the last episodes may be a bit rushed, but for a tournament-based action series, it is way above the others of its type. I shall be updating this list, as more recs come, so shoot it. |

| I'm guessing this list is for Anime only, so here you go: - Nanatsu no Taizai - Ao no Exorcist - Ajin (debetable, if this really is shounen) - Rainbow (IF this counts for this list, then definitely this one) - Hajime no Ippo - Haikyuu - Kuroko no Baske - Shingeki no Kyojin - Zetsuen no Tempest - Major (meh.. not sure here) And you already mentioned the two, i can underline the most: FMA: B and HxH 2011. So it's really hard, to go from here on. But yeah, i think Nanatsu no Taizai at least should make this list. |
