MALembed : Notice With MAL forums back since 50 minutes ago, I am going to make an announcement about MALembed. MAL's APIs are still down, and there is still no ETA for them coming back up. It might be so that the API will get a complete overhaul as well, which will definitely take months if not years, considering how slow the website security check took. A security check. A check. DeNA (company owning MAL) literally took two and a half months to get 80% of the site checked for security vulnerabilities. Even if a check resulted in negative results and they had to fix something, this is a bit too long. Imagine them trying to code up an API entirely from scratch, for almost every feature of MAL. So, MALembed is going to left down, and unless I'm getting the motivation to take the entire website, parse it and manually create an API-like thing for it, it'll probably never come back online. |
MALembed : Back Alive it'll probably never come back online. - me, August 2018 What's up weebs, it's August 2019 and MALembed is now back online XD. Same url at https://malembed.tk. Keep in mind this is still on a free server so it's not the best at handling all the requests, but at least everything's back online!
