| Hi, I just wanted to know if "Boruto : Naruto the Movie" is a side-story of Naruto Shippuden (if there is any link with the serie/manga) that is to say if I can watch this movie without really spoiling myself about the future episodes of the serie. Thanks ! |
| Takes place after the Naruto manga (and Shippuuden for that matter). The link is somewhat sketchy. The story is by someone else but it features the same characters. There are also subtle links which aren't in the manga but do appear in Shippuuden. It's spoiler~ish so I won't say. Edit: Shippuuden is at chapter 699 of 700 of the manga. If you already know what happens at the climax, there's no harm in watching the film at this point. In my opinion~ |
