| I don't think it's underrated but it is much less known than the long-running ones: Peace Maker Kurogane -- Shinsengumi based shounen. Of course there is the much more well known... | Two of my favorite shounen anime are absent from your list, Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Nurarihyon no Mago. Rurouni Kenshin and World's Strongest Disciple Kenichi are two of the many classic action series without any or much of supernatural element. These titles are not really unknown but they certainly are fading away as years gone by. Mahou Sensei Negima is also another really good one, but you gotta be patient with the beginning volumes, it gets freaking good later on. You gotta read the manga though once you're done with the anime. I would also recommend Air Gear but it's not the traditional shounen fighting anime, it has some really good action but it's actually a trek sports. Really cool series that's worth a try, and same as MSN, you gotta read the manga after you're done with the series. |
