| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh Madara. Having that seal on him...he looks priceless tbh. Looks like a case at the exorcism shop involving a criminal. I find Natsume's disguise to be amusing in order to solve the case with Madara. Dangerous stuff. Really liked the thrilling feeling of the episode though :D |

| Arriving to the house owned by the family. He explained the family tends kids that not wanted. Nyanko-sensei is not feeling well, but got better with the rope thing. A lady who is an exorcist, too, didn't want to join them either. A mask got her and he saw through it. He accepted the request for his own ability, though. The drawing might help him? He started to press that hand on every exorcist's face after seeing an exorcist fell. He finally found it, and creepy guy exorcised it. Getting on mask on purpose? Wow, that guy found the paper from Ishida-san's character worrying about him. |

| when sensei accidentally let the youkai out of his grasp the moment natsume got snatched by the dumb exorcists ;___; i love it when they drop reminders about how much sensei cares about natsume. and natori also lowkey protecting natsume makes me happy too, this boy needs all the protecting he can get lol |
| Natsume had a pretty rough time here but he did manage to solve the problem with some help. The question is will he be able to avoid helping Matoba again seeing how much they like the bother him. |
| Good episode. Poor Nyanko Sensei feeling a bit sick. Something is wrong when he doesn't want to eat or drink. LOL Natsume touching everyone's face. The Magatsumen is creepy possessing people like that. Interesting history on the Matoba Clan. YAY!! Taki Next week. |

| I wonder what was written on the letter...a curse perhaps to do Matoba's bidding, in case his threat to disclose Natsume's secret doesn't work? Whether he's as himself or disguised as a yokai, Natsume seems to always be picked on...poor guy just wants to live in peace. |
| Natsume's reaction when the possessed lady walked it. He just tossed Nyanko behind him lol Matoba may be hated by Natsume but his character is quite interesting. I found it funny how he so casually waltz into the main room and shoots a bow to get rid of the parent mask and then he looks at Natsume. Next week should be interesting. |

| Animation is still pretty iffy, and transitions between movements are awkward. Nice to know a little bit more about the Matobas though. |
| Interesting to get more info about the Matoba clan, even if all it does is reinforce the impression I already had of them. Still, it's good to know little tidbits like that, and it's also nice to see other little things like Nyanko-sensei releasing the youkai when Natsume was pulled off him; subtle things like that do a really good job at demonstrating the relationship those two have developed over this series so far. |

| Since he was talking about those eleven families and the families having trouble after they didn't have a famiyl head that could see Youkai anymore ... I guess he might have tried to offer Natsume a position as head of one of those families and giving him one of those villas. Certainly interesting once that Matoba guy is involved. Liked episodes 3 and 4 a lot. |
| Watched this and ep 3 back to back. Natori. No matter what he says/does, I will always be suspicious of him. That lizard creeped me out for the first time ever in this episode(or ep 3 is it?) But he is an interesting character, and helps Natsume, so it's alright I guess. Matoba shooting down the ayakashi looked like a stunt. I had already read the manga, but don't remember anything about Natori's paper charm in Natsume's hair. |

| We learned lots of information about the Matoba clan and more generally about exorcists families. It's more complicated than what I imagined. I think this fifth season is as exciting as the last. |

To be fair, this time he helped Matoba in order to prevent casualties at the villa and to protect Natori from being targeted. I think in time he'll have to make a choice, but this is Natsume we're talking about here. He'll make the right one. |

| The closure of this arc, reserve many surprises, who knows if the new season, there will be an opportunity to learn other facts related to this subject just closed. The growth of Natsume is very clear, but he gets fooled by others, too easily, as in the case of Matoba. Poor Natsume! |

| I'm picking up Go ages after watching Shi and I'll admit I'm a little rusty when it comes to memory but this episode was very effective in reminding us of the blurred boundaries between good and evil. Definitely reminded of how little I trust Natori after that scene at the end! Can't wait to watch the rest of the season, I can feel myself awarding another 10/10 for Natsume Yuujinchou! |

| Great episode into the 5th series. Natori has always been a favorite and he and Natsume's friendship continues to progress; I knew he would be there for him at the end. Still, that lizard thing is too creepy though. Matoba lost again. Yeah, sensei! |
