| MAL rating aren't the greatest indication of how good the anime is anyway. Also, it too early to tell considering that there only 3 episodes out, it get better in the manga later on. |
| I think you are not alone dude. Great show, I'm feeling some strange emotional mix of hellsing ultimate + jojo. Also want to point out that CGI is pretty good in this one. Overall good animation, great art, good music. Yeah show doesn't make sense so far (3 episodes) but I totally can live with that. |

| I actually really like it too. I don't think it's the best show of the season (Keijo is mine :P) but its definitely in my top 3. I feel like it will get better as more episodes come out. |

| Nah, you are overestimating it. Animation-wise it's an eye-candy, but unfortunately most of characters feel like flat cardboard cutouts, plot doesn't go beyond "save the world from an evil overlord", worldbuilding is pretty non-existent, while all fights have been a little too one-sided to be interesting. Drifters anime is not bad, but it also isn't particularly good. |

| The anime is good, but I don't think it is underrated. 7.75 is good score However, there is many underrated anime this season like Soushin Shoujo Matoi, Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku, Shakunetsu no Takkyuu Musume and maybe Keijo!!!!!!!! I would say that Ajin 2nd season is probably the best in this season so far. Thats if you do not include continuing anime like JoJo |
| Naturally it's difficult to fully judge currently airing anime, but I do partially agree with you OP...Drifters isn't my absolute favorite this season but it is probably in my top 5 so far and I can't believe how underrated it is! Perhaps a lot of people were hyped up because it's from the creator of Hellsing, and expected something similar? With a big series like that, it's hard not to compare. Aside from the art though, I'd say these two are quite different and it's definitely not as gory (so far at least). I'm probably in the minority that didn't like Hellsing (shock horror), and therefore wasn't expecting to enjoy Drifters...so I'm pleasantly surprised! I prefer the characters in Drifters much more than the ones in Hellsing since they feel more fleshed out already, making them much more accessible- there isn't just one or two characters carrying the whole series. Plus, its plot seems somewhat more organized as well! |

Sure, how you rate things, 7.75 is indeed mediocre rating, but you don't even use the lower HALF of the scale. You waste half of your range of ratings! Pretty much everything is overrated on MAL. I think MAL's mean score is somewhere between 7.0 and 7.2, so even by that 7.75 is everything but mediocre. |

That's what I was talking about. An anime, which barely holds any enjoyment to you and you must force yourself through on it is a 6/10. The 6 is in the upper half of the scale, implying that an anime rated with that score is better than half of all anime out there. And there are only 20 anime you actually dropped. That's less than 7% of your completed. IF we assume that every single one of them is a 1/10, your mean score is still 7.5. |

| It's overrated, rating should be 7 MAX. Pacing is not consistent at all, episode 3 was a clusterfuck of action whereas episode 4 was residentsleeper - literally 20 minutes of talking only to lead up to potentially another clusterfuck of ep 5. Only upside is the artwork. It's just cheap entertainment imo. |

| It's a wacky show, so it depends on how much a given person can enjoy this type of crazy show. Tastes differ, basically. I personally didn't think much of the first episode, but starting from the second one I found that kind of wacky fun to be right up my alley. |

| You might be overrating it the only thing it really has is nice art and a decent story, I find the chibi comedy scenes really destroy it. |
| Good score at MAL. Higher than 7.5 is good (Could even go up to 8.) And this is a show that doesn't appeal to a lof of people. Yes it is action ... but most people prefer action with ecchi and stuff like that. Yes it contains blood/violence - which a lot of people like. But there also seems to be stuff that people don't like. (Recent episode contained a lot of "shit" ha ha. Also seems the female elves got raped - and a lot of people don't like rape even if it isn't shown explicitely.) |
| The score is good for MAL but I believe it is underrated. Definitely the best of season and I am loving it! The ratings just keep increasing so hopefully the show gets a rating of 8.0+ by the time it is finished. |

Personally I don't care how good Drifters is, the fact that it gets me waiting for the next episode is what counts...I think. I love this scene |
| The only real appeal of the show is its opening, other than that, if you want a dumb, manly show that's currently airing you could just watch Tiger Mask W so you don't have to deal with the shit humour all the time. I think it has a pretty great score for what it is, as a seasonal it's sitting above things like Flip Flappers and The Great Passage. |
| Fungal Stray Dogs is beating it so I believe that means lots of people of under rating this series. Definitely means people are over rating Stray Dogs but then I guess that's the sory of people that enjoyed D.Gray-man Hollow or Re Zero. |
