| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Kumiko offers Nozomi that she will ask Asuka for Nozomi and she is ready! <3. Reina's concern over the newly introduced Satami-sensei was shocking. The poor girl lost any colour in her eyes. But Kumiko reassuring Reina that she will be okay since she seems all mature to her was lovely. Their bond is so amazing! This episode marks the start of the storm that will shape up this season. 5/5 |

| Ah a pool style episode. Holy shit, Reina looks great in her swimsuit. I'm impressed! Asuka without glasses though...damn. She looks good, maybe she should get contacts permanently. Good amount of storytelling coming from Nozomi this week. Kumiko and Nozomi bonded well in a way, feel like their connection grew.  |

| That rhythm game looked like Audiosurf. Anyway we got some fan service this episode, guess Kyoany just has to have one of these episodes. And we learned a bit more about Nozomi but i guess Asuka won't forgive her that easily. |

| Really growing to like Nozomi. Now the waiting game for Asuka's opinion on the matter. I for once agree with Nozomi and her leave. That short scene with Kumiko and Reina was stunning, so simple but incredible with the music kicking in and them holding hands, beautiful friendship. I feel like this season is already better than the first. |
| Man... There gives it only a word for this ep.: FANTASTIC!!! Really, Asuka is the sexiest bookworm/otaku-type girl of all other anime! I could her so imagine even in her university time...xD And the plot of this ep. was again very deep and informative, the series should this beat keep! |

| A pool episode but I don't mind Lol that jealous Reina. Got a chuckle outta the dead fish eyes What was up with the lilies when Yoroizuka was recalling the promise lol I'm really interested in how Asuka truly feels about the whole situation as well, so looking forward to that being explained. |

| Yup, even the infamous "pool episode" is entirely dedicated to providing insight to the characters. Zero wasted time, didn't even show them swimming and didn't frame their outfits as fanservice. I love this show. |
| Great episode again. Hell Yeah, Pool first half, Let the glory begin. XD Reina Swimsuit <3 <3 , She looks so beautiful <3. I won't be able to handle it if they keep throwing this stuff at me. XD The other looked good too but Reina stole the show. :P Starting to like Nozomi, Her story is kind of sad. Wonder why Asuka doesn't want to let her back in. I understood Reina's view on the matter but not sure what exactly Asuka's opinion is. Those Reina reactions when Satami sensei was introduced, Hilarious. XD The final scene with Kumiko reassuring Reina was just so amazing, I really liked how Kumiko described Reina has different and more mature for her age and reassured her everything would be fine since it's her. The high five was really sweet. That whole thing was just so simple, so cute and yet so beautiful. |

| Reina has slowly grown to be on of my favorite characters in this anime. She's a boss. But my god Asuka...MY GODDESS!!!! I was hoping for my Asuka in this pool episode but I got what I needed. |

| It's getting even better, I wasn't expecting such a great episode! I want Hashimoto's shirt, the one he was wearing last week was a bit too pink for my tastes tho lol Reina's reaction made me laugh so hard, especially when she dropped that spoonful of curry rofl It's so good to see how much Kumiko has changed since the beginning of the first season, I don't think her old self would have answered like that to Nozomi's question, nor she would have chased after people like she is doing now, and that last scene with Reina had me sincerely smile. This episode was so full that I don't know what to say... This comment would get too long. |

| Nice episode. Gotta love a pool episode. DAMN all the girls look beautiful & gorgeous in their bathing suits, especially Reina & Asuka. LOL Nice shirts Yuko & Natsuki. Good to know more about the incident with the 3rd years & why Nozomi quit. Training Camp begins. LOL Reina's dead fish eyes were hilarious. Niiyama Sensei looking real fine. All the females in this anime looks so damn gorgeous. Lets see if Kumiko can convince Asuka to allow Nozomi back into the club. |

| Something something happened in the band last year. Repeat. Reina loves sensei. She doesn't love Kumiko in that way because Kumiko is paired with her childhood friend that has zero lines in two episodes. Practice is shown by jokes over dinner. Have to give time to discuss drama about last year, again. Knowing more about Asuka might make things interesting. |

| KyoAni is really doing great this time. No time wasted just because there was a pool scene. The plot advanced without much focus on the fan service. Asuka is still a mysterious character for me, I don't know what she's exactly thinking. As far as I had observed in S1, she's a professional character without much sympathy to others. And she wants others to take the first step instead of her giving the push. |

| I've never thought season 2 can actually surpass the first one but it's already happenning, in terms of dialogues and slice-of-life drama. They could easily make this episode into two but they made the story go in fast yet very entertaining pace. We got bunch of answers there from Nozomi point of view but I'm still very curious what Asuka's perception of things is. Mizore being fed with the club without her friend was also sad - wonder why she really hates that specific song of hers. I wonder if Kumiko is trying to put herself into role of savior though as it would be she who would get hurting in the end. But still, I somehow hope this ends resolved peacefully with everyone in the second year graduating their quarells, finding their friendship again. Sidenote: the new teacher Satome is real bijin, and Reina's face was pretty hillarious whe she saw her, a new meme material I would guess :D |
| Everything is so dramatic, even though I'm not too interesting in these side characters it's a good episode. The art was great, much better than the first episode. |

None of that "it'll traumatize Yoroizuka" garbage either! Unless we find out Nozomi beat the shit out of her or something... |
| I think Nozomi and this incessant "what happened last year" drama have the potential to bring this show down a lot, unfortunately. The melodrama was so overdone in this episode's first half. Way to suck all the fun out of a pool sequence... Good thing Reina's dead fish eyes at the coming of Niiyama-sensei and Yoroizuka's character in general improved things big time after that (plus the sweet Kumiko/Reina moment). When it comes to Euphonium, I've sort of learned to take the bad with the good at this point. |

Obviously she believed she and her school did enough but the judges thought otherwise. It left a scar on her that makes her hate competitions. She is only into it because of her promise with Nozomi that they would win it once they are in high school. Btw, I am guessing Reina is okay with her Kumiko being taken.  Also, Shuuichi appears in this episode as Mr. Literally-sent-to-the-background. This could neither be taken out of the story as an OVA nor inserted as an obligatory pool episode. The episode is directly taken from the novel and I am surprised how closely it has followed the novel in this season. Also, the pacing is suggesting we may enter the final volume. But will have to wait and see how much they cover in the next two episodes. I was planning to capture lots of mizugi pictures and flood MAL forums but here is the most beautiful one I took from the episode ❤:  |

| More being Gay, everyone in bikinis, Bitch Ribbions with twin tails, Halarious shirts and Reina died. pretty freaking good episode, i liked it a hell of a lot more then the first episode, not just because of the pool, after all the pool was really only like half the episode or so. i just really enjoyed all the character interactions from this episode, was really solid. |
