| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Lieutenant Percy from Riding Bean?! A big surprise, I thought Sonoda had problems over the Riding Bean OAV rights, thus preventing him to use characters who appeared only in the OAV (and not the subsequent manga chapters made to promote it) Parcy Backarack... I wonder how the french editor could validate such a transcription from a new translator after the first one did it more close to something from the USAs (Percy Bacha-something) back in Riding Bean. @St0rmblade Oh, Artmic died, I had no idea. I always wondered about Bean too, maybe the contract let Sonoda have the character's ownership but not anything else? (would be weird though). Let's put that on the count of the character's "awesomeness". The guy can do anything, survive anything, so escaping to copyrights laws must be a piece of cake. |

Maybe that's the reason. Though I don't understand how did Bean end up in Gunsmith Cats originally. Rally needed a redesign but he didn't? |
