| So i was looking for a Romance anime to watch and I ended up seeing the OVA 12 episodes in the list. I watched the TV series long ago but what I want to know is if it is any different from the TV series and not just a remake or a episode #.5 series? Thanks |
| The OVA started airing first, but since it was only an episode or two a year the 12 episodes of the OVA didn't finish being released until well after the 12 episode TV series aired. They are both adaptions of the same manga and they are the same length, but the OVA is less censored since it didn't air on TV. If you liked the TV series you might also like the OVA. They can both be considered standalone series though, the TV series is a readaption of the OVA. |

| The OVAs are more ecchi (and thus better) The actual chronological order if you want to watch it like such is actually this though: Ova 00 Ova 01 Ova 02 Ep 01 Ep 02 Ep 03 Ep 04 Ep 05 Ep 06 Ep 07 Ep 08 Ep 09 Ova 03 Ep 10 Ova 04 Ep 11 Ep 12 Ova 05 Ova 06 Ova 07 Ova 08 Ova 09 Ova 10 Ova 11 |

| TV version is pretty much a watered-down version of the OVAs (less ecchi, censored, and even the jokes weren't funny). If you've seen the OVAs, there isn't really any point in watching the TV show. You'll get more quality out of it if you do that. |

| @OriginANIME Well I didn't watch it like that either (just TV-series first, then all the OVAs) but if you watch it for the first time today then yeah you might as well do it in the "correct" order. But again, given the contents of the episodes it's not really a huge deal if you end up watching it out of order. Sure once the story actually kicks off later on in the manga that's obviously important but neither of the anime cover that far so whatever |
