Trump: 'Check out sex tape' of 'disgusting' former Miss Universe

Donald Trump went after a former Miss Universe in a string of early-morning tweets Friday, encouraging voters to “check out” an alleged “sex tape” of Alicia Machado, who has been on the offensive against the GOP presidential nominee all week.

During Trump’s first debate with Democrat Hillary Clinton on Monday, she mentioned old comments he made about a Miss Universe contestant, whom he complained gained weight after she won the crown.

Machado has since given a series of interviews slamming the real estate mogul as sexist, but Trump says Clinton was “duped” into ever bringing her up.

For a man who has vowed to crack down on porn, asking US citizens to go watch a porno sure is a leap. That is a man with no decency at all.

Tweet in question:

Best temperament, folks.

As much as I love Trump's antics, WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU UTTER BUFFOON STAY ON MESSAGE FOR FIVE MORE WEEKS!

This whole thing should have been dead on arrival. Yes, Alicia Machado is "no saint girl" and her entire story is falling apart at the seams. No, it's still terrible optics to bring up a girl's weight when you're trying to sell the point that you respect women more than anyone.

Actually Machado would be completely irrelevant right now if Trump had responded to Hillary by citing all of the women he's promoted to executive positions in his business.

At least he didn't rape her.
No way to recall
What it was that you had said to me
Like I care at all
But it was so loud
And you sure could yell
You took a stand on every little thing
And it was so loud

Think he was more on point when he went off on Ted Cruz over an ad a super pac posted about his own wife. He should have just let this go, both in the debate and especially nearly a weak after it, the only reason anyone even remembers who she is is because he keeps bringing it up.

He should have mentioned her love child with a Mexican drug lord and the fact that she's wanted in her home country for threatening to kill a judge instead.

The 'sex tape' in question was a scene on a Spanish reality show where you can't see anything but the guy thrusting. No tits or anything.

I'm not judging your choice of news outlets, but I'd like to suggest your lack of knowing that this is a thing is specifically because of CNN. You may also find it informative to know that CNN's ratings have been dropping steadily this year (Fox News has been on the rise and might have it's best year yet).

If I were to push you into the direction of "informed politically", then I would suggest to find more of your information online, more often, from various sources. Regardless of the major news outlet, it's very clearly biased.

But that is your choice, and not necessarily an important choice. Take the information how you will, politics aren't everything.

It's just that most people around me (ie in college) subscribe to CNN. In fact I'd go as far as to say that our college endorses CNN network.
This summer I got home to find out that everyone switched to fox news.
My problem with both CNN and Fox is that both of them seem to pander to either side of the spectrum. Fox news leans a bit towards the conservative side whereas CNN has a heavy liberal bias.
I'm looking for more of a neutral news outlet. USA Today doesn't seem too bad but it isn't popular enough.

meh you USA voters that considers voting for Trump should analyze his plans/policies since so far his plans/policies are changing everytime and he even says his plans is a secret sometime like really i think Trump do not understand the impact of his plans for example

Clinton made a good point that i think is correct too, she said Trump's tax plan is the tried and failed trickle down economics that even the IMF (International Monetary Fund) says never works and its just bullshit tax policy, what also happened to Trump's plan of paying the 19 trillion national debt of USA in just 8 years? he never mentioned that again might be that he realized its fucking impossible to do even if he cut all the 500 billion dollar military funding every year of USA and use that money to pay that national debt

You won't find one. I would label fox "the least bad", but there's no news source out there, aside from maybe politifact, that isn't clearly biased.

Even Julian Assange, founder of wikileaks, is out to get Hillary. While he isn't endorsing Trump, he's still only on one side of the matter. Although with his business practices he publishes any verifiable information that he gets so it's not as big of a problem.

Isn't Fox pretty conservative? It's a worse example of "as un-biased as you can find" than CNN, for example.

(If that's not a strong enough indicator, I am not well versed as to the context of what happened here but I just find it funny how americans still think sex and nudity and gross and bad)

It's a complicated issue.

On one hand, we want to have our porn. On the other, almost all of us would never date a porn star. There's nothing immoral with sex on its own, but it's not directly compatible with the rest of our concepts of society.

You can think of it this way. Should the president chill out and play video games all the time? Not really ever. That would be unacceptable and wrong. It's okay if he limits his playtime, is discreet about it, and doesn't ever have lan parties or something. In a way you could say it would be immoral for him to do so, and it would be wrong. But of course, it wouldn't be wrong for a "normal" person to do this.

It isn't about who's higher in a political stance, but merely the nature of their stance in society in general. If you've put yourself in a position of assumed responsibility, part of which is the responsibility of your appearance, then certain things become taboo.

"Sleeping around" isn't taboo strictly speaking, but if you ever want to have a solid and healthy relationship with someone, odds are it's going to cause a huge amount of conflict barring only the most extreme outliers. It's because of this glaring problem that we decided to make polygamy illegal.

But we don't hate porn stars. On the other hand, we don't go to porn stars for political advice. When our political advisors start to become porn stars, then we care much less about their politics.

The shit show never stops.

The good/bad news is that if Trump wins it's not going to be as bad/good as everyone is saying. He isn't going to build the wall, he isn't going to make substantial cuts in migration and he'll probably be kept on a short leash by essential government services who won't allow him to upset the present balance of power or the economy.
