Immediately upon stepping out of your room, you finds yourself in a corridor that seems to stretch endlessly. With no significant markers, you're forced to wander around until you found your way.

Beware of temptations coming from nowhere. Not every risk is worth taking, correct?

Edward stepped out and looked around at the rather expansive and jaded corridor. With nothing else to do, and being too nervous to consider searching intently, he simply began to wander down it. All the patterns and furniture seemed to almost repeat, but he knew he was walking the same direction as before, so it didn't bother Edward too much. He didn't check any doors and just continued down, thinking that if he did, a door might shut behind him.

CHRISTIN MARS
“And the sun and the moon sometimes argue over who will tuck me in at night. If you think I am having more fun than anyone on this planet, you are absolutely correct. ”

'Oh man, just how big this place can be.', Christin sighed, running his fingers through his hair and hence messing it up. It was probably a bad idea to wander off away from the group.

Imagine his surprise when he spotted someone nearby. Tugging the hat he was wearing, Christin ran towards Edward. 'Oh my god, I'm so glad that you're here. Do you have any idea where we are now?'

SOLIEL

Soliel kept his pace succint as he move about the wide hallway. Perfection was an art and serving was his chosen profession. However, he only intended to be loyal to one person alone and he would do anything to please that person.

Nonetheless, his steps were almost silent as he walked. There, he saw only two people but didn't wonder where the rest were. Their fate was up to themselves. They were special but probably not special enough. He smirked to himself.

"Pleasant evening to you, gentlemen," he spoke confidently. "My name is Soliel and I am tasked to usher you both safely to the Altar Ballroom. I expect that you follow my lead, otherwise, you might chance upon some... monsters?" He said this half in jest, yet somewhat felt like it had some truth into it.

With a turn of his heel, Soliel led them towards the Altair Ballroom.

Eddie heard a voice and turned immediately towards the source, and almost right after the blonde noticed him in return. Naturally, he was immediately suspicious and on edge, thinking this was one of the people who had trapped him here. The man's approach seemed friendly, and made Edward think he might be another victim of kidnapping. Still, the guy almost seemed too calm. In fact, saying that he was 'glad he was here' was a pretty odd way to start off.

"The MV Wishmaker, probably on the Atlantic somewhere." He answered automatically. Weird, he was usually bad with names and places, yet he remembered the name of the cruise from the letter. It must be the adrenaline. With a little suspicious showing in his expression, he stepped back, keeping an eye on the fellow. "Who are you?" That was the appropriate way to start a conversation under this context, in his opinion. How could one feel comfortable or safe with anyone after being brought here unconscious?

However before the guy could answer, another man came, this one carrying himself more professionally. His words made it obvious he was working on the ship. They also alluded to the fact that it wasn't a single person who had brought them here, but possibly an organization of sorts. Choosing not to say anything to the man, he began to follow him. He had questions, and he wanted to ask them, but this man had clearly stated he had a single task. No. He couldn't help himself. "What did you bring us here for? What kind of game is this?" He blurted out as he began to follow after Soliel.

He didn't wait for the two to follow him before he started walking. Soliel thought he gave them sufficient warning, and they would have to deal with the consequences of their choice. There was no hurry in his pace, anyway.

The older man seem to take this as an opportunity to ask questions. Soliel almost smiled for a second in amusement before he reverted to his business smile.

"I believe it was stated right at the beginning why you were brought here. To grant your wish. And for that simple purpose alone."

He turned his head slightly just to have a glimpse of the man's reactions.

Christin was more than relieve that somebody had came to pick him up. He kept his head lowered so that Soliel wouldn't recognize him. Hopefully he could be able to sneak back without his brother noticing his absence.

'Hey, didn't you know what you've signed up for?' he asked Eddie as he kept up with the male.

Rather than seeing the other man's reaction, Soliel couldn't help but notice how strange it was for the other guy with them to keep hiding his face. The boy seemed oddly familiar but he shrugged it off just as immediately.

They were getting closer towards the ballroom. His task at the corridor was about to end and he would be getting to his next task. The ship staff was going to get busier from here on out.

Reaching the doors leading towards the ballroom, he stopped in his steps and opened the door. "Gentlemen, step inside the ballroom and enjoy the party. Shoul you have further troubles, seek me in the same room as I will be prepared to assist you."

You may now proceed to the Altair Ballroom.

To grant his wish? Were they still playing with that theme they set up at the beginning with the letter? No, the way the man stated it made it sound like more than a theme. Either they had a philosophy that everyone's true desire was to be captured and forced to solve riddles or die, or there was something going on that Eddie didn't know about. Ultimately, it seemed he'd have to wait to ask someone more willing to elaborate.

One thing that was really odd was the thing the other captive said, if he was even a captive at all. The man implied that he had signed up for this. Eddie definitely didn't sign up for anything like this. There was also the possibility that he was actually with the organization, and was kept in the dark, thinking the participants signed up.

Edward kept quiet though, and when they arrived he thanked the man who escorted them and stepped into the Ballroom.

Christin wasn't in a social mood so the gact that Eddie didn't respond to him didn't bother him too much really. He merely shrugged when they arrived at the ballroom. Tipping his hat at his guide, he sneaked in and prayed that his brother wouldn't notice his absence.

It took a couple of minutes, a couple of steps from that room until they reached finally stopped. Whether you behaved yourself or tried to escape, they have kept you in check and rebelling was futile.

The corridors were empty now. The people that had previously been there had already moved on to the next room with a guide. Now in that same direction you are facing was the way to the ballroom.

Renko was a little surprised by the outcome of his answer. He didn't expect the captor would free him from the ropes from just that. He kinda expected some sort of Escape Game first, like if a window in the room would suddenly break with water starting to pour in - he shivered at this thought - with him and the other person having to find a way out before they'd drown.
(You don't look a gift horse in the mouth) he thought, but at the same time he was sure that it was far from over. For all he knew the captor might have just led him to another closed room and make him play the Escape Game there.
But no, the moment they stopped walking, he obediently counted to 5, then took off his blindfold to find himself in a long, empty corridor. He walked forward as instructed, taking a look around as he went.
The corridor was very beautifully decorated, like some sort of reinassance or baroque palace, with many rooms located along, Renko wandered if other people were kept inside, just as he was. It was bright, though it seemed as the candlesticks on the walls were the only light source, since when looking through the window all Renko could see was endless darkness. Whether it was nighttime or the corridor was - (Gulp...) - underwater, he couldn't tell.
Renko continued to walk, keeping his hands firmly in his pockets to prevent them from reaching for any loosely lying objects. He couldn't help but wonder, what will happen to the other person that was in the room with him. He hasn't seen their face, so he wasn't sure if he would recognize them if they were to meet again. All he could tell was that, judging from the voice, they were most likely female.

The young blonde patted down the fluffiness of her tulle skirt as she laid her cards on the table. Her associate had gave her a challenge, an appetizer before the main course. The faintest sign of a smile painted her otherwise pale skin. She opened the first card, “Moon”.

‘Hmmm…’ As she contemplated the meaning of the card, she noticed her target. A young gentleman with brown hair, a color she knew she can’t pull off herself. Invisible to the naked eyes unless she wishes for, there was no danger for Renko to notice her presence.

‘Interesting,’ mumbled the young lady under her breath. Pulling a stray strand of hair away from her vision, her starry eyes turned a deeper shade of purple. ‘Let’s see how long you’ll last.’ Alone with Renko, this is her domain and everything in it falls under her control.

She blinked and the corridor Renko was in started shaking as if he’s experiencing an earthquake in the middle of the ocean. It was violent enough that the art pieces that was hanging on the walls started falling one by one right before his eyes.

Renko stopped for a moment, a cold shiver went down his spine, as if he felt someone else's presence in the corridor. Someone who was observing him. He looked around, but didn't see anyone. He shrugged it off and continued walking.
Then suddenly the ground beneath him began to shake. "A-an earthquake?!" His home city has never been struck by an earthquake, so he didn't know how to react in this situation. (Did we hit something? Are we... SINKING?!) What if it really was ocean outside? The windows could shatter any moment! In a surge of panic, Renko quickly grabbed one of the fallen paintings and put it over his head to shield himself from any falling debris as he broke into a run.

'Hmmm...' She mused as she turned another card around. Observing humans in generally is an interest to her. She finds it fascinating that the for a species that's weaker than the other species, they have climbed the ladder of domination to the top.

'Mistress,' a shadow figure appeared behind her. A male, cloaked in darkness kept his head bowed in obedience. 'You're required at the Altair Ballroom.'

'Oh?' She said, tapping her fingers on her chin before a flash of smile sparkled on her dewy skin. 'Time to take things seriously now, shouldn't I? Tardiness would be rude, no?' She commented to nobody in particular.

'I wonder...' she continued as she observed Renko running in a beeline while avoiding the fallen objects. With a click of her fingers, the windows before his line of sight started shattering and water gushed violently, heading in his directions.

'Now don't disappoint me, Human.' She grinned, eyes sparkling while her subordinate stood faithfully behind her. He understood that her mistress wouldn't give up the chance to have her fun. He may remind her of her responsibilities but he may not cross the line to force her to play against her wish.

And then Renko saw the windows shattering as the water started pouring in from the cracks.
"No!" He yelled. "Nonononono! This can't be happening! Of all things that could've happened, why this!
Renko was at his limit - the kidnapping, the death game premonition and now he was about to drown. It was too much for him to handle. But then he saw doors at the end of the corridor. It was still a dozen metres away and the water was pouring in from the broken windows.
A sudden spike of adrenaline rushed through his entire body. He didn't want to die here. Not like this (well, preferably not at all). He needed to find help, or at least a lifeboat.
He made it to the ballroom doors in just a few leaps. Completely soaked and out of breath, he tried to open the door, but they refused to do so. In that case he started banging at the door, yelling for help.

Humans are such fascinating creatures. It would appear that they are capable of pushing themselves to the limits when their lives are threatened. She cocked her head and pulled out another card. Placing it on the oak table, she studied her spread. 'My my, how interesting that young man is, don't you agree?' she asked her subordinate who kept himself cloaked in the shadows.

'Time to end the game,' She spoke to herself, not taking offense that she was ignored. Her blushish-violet eyes sparkled and the illusion broke, returning reality to the poor man. 'Let's head to the ballroom. We can't keep our guests waiting.'
With a wave of her hands, the cards on the table vanished and left no traces of their existence. She pulled a stray strand of blond hair behind her ears before disappearing into thin air.

OC:Congratulations, Renko had managed to pull through her prank. He would notice that the door to the ballroom opens and his outfit was completely dry. Looking back, he would realize that there was no trace of any abnormality as if everything he'd just went through was nothing but a bad dream.
