[Reported] Character page returns 200 instead of 404

Example not 404

It's confusing to have something return 200 when the requested resource was actually not found.

Anime pages for example work well:Correctly returns 404

I know it's a really small bug and you got other stuff to do as well, but it takes literally 1 minute to solve this ticket.

Well it doesnt return me 200 though. It just shows an invalid id is provided.

I don't know why people write that they are approachable persons,
if you were you wouldn't be on MAL.

the page loading fine returns a 200 for ok in html so yeah you wouldn't see it browsing.

Anyway, you bring up a fair point. I suppose it should be made consistent across all the DBs.

What do you mean across all the DB's? Idk the MAL internals, but I thought it was just standard MVC and in this one case some dev wrote a manual application error message in the controller instead of redirecting to the 404 page.
