This is the premise of the whole story in the first place. One has a living Kakeru, who (probably) gets the MC. In the other one Kakeru is dead and Suwa builds a family with the MC. They even have children. So where is the problem? I myself found the conclusion to be quite satisfying. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding what the people don't like about Suwa's treatment in the story? Well I think it's because he loves her, but he's supporting Kakeru anyway. If I'd love someone, it'd be very hard to support someone else to have a relationship with that person. It wouldn't comfort me or make me happy to think there's another world out there where I'm with the one I love. It'd make me just sad. So that's why I feel a bit sad for Suwa, even he's a great friend and putting his friends happiness before his. But I'm happy anyway that we saw him with Naho. I also wanted Kakeru to feel happiness, so I loved the ending. |
