I just found out that Can - oh yeah literally made me want to jump out from my bike rolling and dancing-gasm crazily in the middle of street floor. Its bring a lot of energy at night, just like caffein~suggestion-ally

Anything David Bowie because I'm gay af for his ass.
If I had to narrow it down though it'll be something calming so songs from either his Aladdin Sane, or Blackstar album.

Chet Baker - Almost Blue https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4PKzz81m5c
Claude Debussy - Arabesque 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yh36PaE-Pf0
Or Debussy's Clair de Lune https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufNZNOHtQ3o
Something more upbeat - The Kooks - She moves in her own way https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pquhYpGHrlw
Two Door Cinema Club - Sun https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKyK1Mme9Sc
Those are my top picks. You should check em out. If you don't like jazz or classical music, skip Chet and Debussy.

For me, the best music for walking at night is synthwave from the likes of Kavinsky, Dance with the Dead or Scattle.

Boards Of Canada : Geogaddai

Start A People : Black Moth Super Rainbow

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ygd8cOdXqhE

The Seven Fields Of Aphelion : Periphery

These would all be dependent on the vibe I'd want. If I wanted to scare the crap of myself, probably the first album I mentioned. Second album is cool walking around cities during the night to. Third album is perfect for walking in the woods late at night and staring at the moon reflecting in a river while sitting on a comfortable rock.
Talk shit to me and so help me fucking god, I'll come over there and do absolutely nothing.

Walking around at night listening to music (through headphones) sounds like a great way to get mugged.

Lovin' the Two Door Cinema Club man. Undercover Martyn and What You Know are good by them too.

Yeah Two Door are great. I'm pretty sure they released a new single or album recently but I'm not sure. Their first Album is among my favourites definitely.

I take long night walks frequently even though everyone around me begs me to stop!

I can't help it. I love how quiet and peaceful it is while listening to music. If I'm in a good mood and I want something uplifting I'll listen to synthpop like Tame Impala or even Carly Rae Jepsen and Gaga lately.

If I'm feeling more melancholic then I'll listen to noise/alternative rock like Sonic Youth or Dinosaur Jr mostly. Maybe something more calmer like Joanna Newsome or Hefner. I go through phases though, like during the summer I was more into bands like Death and Bathory.

I literally just thought of the perfect song. The song's name, band's name, actual song, and album cover all suit Nighttime.

Currently, anything by Burial, Machinedrum, Radiohead, Boards of Canada, Sigur Ros, Godspeed You! Black Emperor or the more quieter stuff of Autechre works.
When talking about specific genres, emo, downtempo, ambient or post-rock.
