I am personally very happy about this because I was thinking to myself that a movie would be the perfect way to adapt this part of the story. And with this, hopefully the visuals will be better compared to this season. |

| This is for the best. The material is a bit darker than normal 3rei and the action scenes will definitely benefit from a movie budget. Hopefully this will avoid the problems that episode 11 faced now that they have time and a budget. |

Pretty much all of the problems one could have for 3rei in general and episode 11 in particular can all be fixed by just making the arc a movie where they can have a much higher budget and longer time to get it looking and directed to the best the studio result could actually ever accomplish. The traditional animated movie has a runtime of 1 hour and 40 minutes. That's the equivalent of 5 episodes. Even though i wanted them to expand on some of the fights, i'd take the original content in movie form any time over a 10-episode TV-series-looking TV series. |

The movie's runtime should equal the runtime of 5 traditional episodes without the OPs and EDs and this arc's length is exactly 13 chapters, so (2.6 chapters per episode). It should have the same pacing as this season, overall, assuming the runtime is 1 hour and 40 minutes. |

"Having negative expectations and being right one time" =/= Having a prophetic level of understanding what a studio thinks. By that logic I am a freaking messiah from having expected ufo to mess up UBW cour 2 by what we got in cour 1. Its either two + hours or two parts since there's literally NO WAY to push the entirety of that arc into 1.5 hours, since a lot of it requires actual transitions as it happens over longer period of time. 3rei was easy to "condense" since the events happen right one after another and even then it CANT avoid transitional scenes. | I just hope this movie isn't the end of Prisma anime. Hopefully they do another season after the flashback arc. There's not enough material atm but by the time the film releases there should be enough. Honestly, I didn't really care the much for the flashback. It was pretty good but I like Prisma because it's not Fate (not that I dislike Fate). I'm just glad the series is back on track at the moment. |
