| you should definitely watch ore monogatari. it's from a pov of a guy that girls usually wouldn't go out with and he has the more attractive best friend. romance not exactly a tragic struggle between two souls, but it's more of a fluff because the guy already gets the girl by episode 2. regardless, the anime is fun to watch. you'll get a good laugh and would totally root for the mc. |

| The show might be named Nodame Cantabile, but the man, Chiaki Shinichi, is the primary character. That's not to say that Nodame doesn't have her moments and an arc of her own near the end of the first season, but the series opens with Chiaki for a reason. |
