| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So the recuse operation continues... Well, the episode had its memorable moments for sure especially when Teru gets attacked by Miyagawa. Thought Bones did a neat job at their confrontation. Nice to see some of the other prominent members of Claw in action. Matsuo is a scary bastard.  |

| The mastermind is revealed |
| Oh man, that episode looked smooth as hell. They absolutely nailed the Claw Boss reveal and all of the mini-fights: Teru v. the fire dood in particular looked gorgeous. I don't know who animated the fire but props to them. Similarly, they got the final scene with Mob and Mutou mutually mindraping each other to a T: Setsuo Ito can really pull off the best kind of screams (which makes me really wish we get a season 2 announced somewhere down the line). And more importantly: my MAIN MAN Shou. Been losing my shit the entire week over his color scheme, so I can't even begin to describe just how relieved I am to see BONES didn't drop the ball and gave us orange hair. And his voice is perfect too: exactly what I'd expect a little cunt like him to sound like. I'm not 100% sure but it might be Mariya Ise (she voiced Killua in HxH 2011). A bit sad we didn't see him bully the hell out of Ritsu, but given the rest of the episode, I can give it a pass. He's got his own theme too ! Season 2 confirmed? Now we better buckle up, because next week is going to be one hell of a ride. PS: btw, in case anyone missed it, Tachikawa-sensei urged the viewers to watch the episode until the very end.  So don't skip the ED. ^^ |

| To this day I'll never understand the practice of leaving extremely important plot twists or bombshells at the very end of an episode after the credits. Do they not realize how many people would miss that? |

| I hate that most of the members of Scars are just for show and don't really pose much of a threat. one thing I have to say why do some of them look like parodies of other characters here's what I found Tsuchiya (Female Bruce Lee), guy with cape (M. Bison/Sigma), Girl in S&M gear (Hunk Resident Evil), And Takeuchi (Black Jesus) maybe it's just me but that's what I see when I look at them. |

| Great episode, The fight scenes were amazing as usual. Teruki vs Pyro guy was so cool to watch, Though most of the Claw members don't really pose a threat to Teruki or Mob. It was sad to see Mob crying in the middle of his fight, He really takes what Reigen says to heart. He really looks upto the guy. That Mob 100% rejection was absolutely stunning animation wise, I got chills all over. Wonder who this kid who defeated Ritsu is. :o Holy shit! Is that Reigen? Is this for real? or is it just a troll? Though if Reigen truly is the boos character or something, It would make sense as to why Mob considers him Master. Mob might have been able to sense the power under Reigen's cloak. |

Your point makes sense, but that doesn't negate the fact that not much happened except pushover fights, the gang gets captured, and dude shows up. If it were a double episode I wouldn't complain (hah I'm spoiled) since this one mostly serves as a buildup to what happens in the next one, but obviously budget and time are things. |

| I wish some of the fights that happened offscreen were actually shown, but I guess it makes sense to not show them due to time and budget constraints. The animation during the Teru fight and the Mob rejection was awesome, as usual. Reigen is the boss?! No way, I seriously never would have expected that. Then again, it always turns out to be the character you'd never expect. |

| A really good episode. Everyone thought they were going to win easy and then Mob team and Ritsu lost and all get captured. Nice fight with the girl scar and another advice from Reigen. There's scene after the credits don't miss it !!!! |

| aaarrrrghhhh I just can't wait to see the next ep! I was so excited throughout this whole ep I was literally jumping on my chair! the fight with Teru and Piro guy was so cool and with Mob and psycho guy as well! animation on point :D but I guess the new orange haired-kid is the one the others kids were talking about in the room, while the Ritsu and the others were trying to save the twin brother: he's like a super strong kid who had awakened at the HQ and then was sent there for some reason. Anxious to see a Mob vs New Strong Kid battle!!! And that ending, just WTH!!! Reigen-san!!!! I need more answers and def a second season to alleviate my desperation. This show is def one of the best of this year! |

| The intruders disperse and they all come across scars of their own. Lol Teru releasing the bad boy within and threatening those losers. And then one guy comes with a small spark on his finger to defeat Teru lol. Teru defeats the big pyrokineses guy by sending his flames back at him and putting up a barrier around him to properly cook hum. And Dimple comes across a guy who has evil spirits under his control and who wants Dimple for himself. Dimple tries to fool him but he gets caught in a jar. The second most surprising thing here was that Mob got knocked out cold and got caught. He beat up the woman despite Reigan telling him not to hurt the opposite gender. And then the mysterious kid who doesn't have a scar but is supposedly strong like them knocks out Ritsu and hides himself. And Mob reverses the man's powers to fry his brain. Mob was already having a hard time accepting the fact that someone beat the hell out of his little brother and that man puts the illusion in his head that Ritsu died. Mob can't accept this much crap and his denial fries that man's brain. What I expected was something along the lines of Shigeo blowing up after seeing his brother unconscious and then proceeding to beat the living hell out of everyone who comes his way. But he gets knocked unconscious before that could happen. Also, who is that kid without the scar but who is supposedly strong like the scar folks? If he isn’t a part of the upper echelon then he wouldn't be there along with the other scars and the gas mask person. Is he from HQ? The most surprising thing was that ending. Was that seriously nekoing Reigan? Is Reigan really an esper? The next episode's title does hint towards that. What the hell was that ending? God damn that cliffhanger. |
