Tokyo Ghoul Redrawn Chapter 1 Discussion
| The redrawn chapter finally got translated and it looks so good. Ishida has improved quite a bit over the last 5 years and the characters actually look their age now. The chapter is overall the same as the original with a few changes here and there such as the part in the original where Kaneki and Hide drew what a ghoul might look like getting removed or Rize talking a bit about her past. Hide's conversation with Kaneki heavily implied he could be a ghoul (or someone from the garden like Furuta) so I wouldn't be surprised if we saw him again in :re. Kaneki's fantasies tho ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) |
| Ogura's still as fishy as ever. ♠ Really didn't expect Ishida to include that tidbit about Rize's past. Shame he didn't draw Yoriko. Great remake nonetheless.♦ |

| Re-reading TG is something most fans have done already, but it was still great doing it again and it looked fantastic. Ishidas has improved over the last years and i'm looking forward to see chapter 2 as well. Would be amazing if he did all volumes, but he's already doing so many things already. |
