This episode made me hungry. Mari's also such a disobedient kid lol

The simplistic life style back then is noticeable and I like how they demonstrated that on most parts. That photo though. I love how family come together. The cliffhanger gave me an awkward vibe..

Decent episode but that cliffhanger at the end. I do wonder how everyone is going to get out of this one now that the secret is out.

I know this is a kids show, but I can't stop thinking how much both are deadbeat parents. Three whole years and the only person to actually seem concerned about the father's disappearance is the daughter and her friends. It's like both parents married to get some breaks on their taxes or to shut their own parents up about making some grandchildren before they die. A part of me kinda wants Mari's mom to get with Mikage just so that Mari's father would realize what an asshole he really is to his family.

Rather tragic that Hertz died so young. And with everyone captured things have gotten desperate!

I have always hated that Joe Mikage - he seems to be a pompous arrogant prick... I hope PAPA comes back and whoops his ass.

At least Hertz doesn't get a heart-attack after saw Waka appearing like that, considering his current health state.
That "sister-quarrel" between Hert's daughter is surely fun to look at. And Hertz is the only inventor in this series that get to know what his invention will become in the future, right?
And there goes "that" Melody around minute 21:15 again. It seems the Melody plays when it's related to "it's time to go back" state.

Kinda sad that his daughters chose the forever alone route. He just can't catch a break. At least Mari's dad was able to show him the impact he had to the modern world with his research.

And can't wait to witness the most pompous ass of the Scientific World in full force, with the equally douchey Joe in tow this time.

Hertz died so young! Mari's dad let him knew what his research can do and how it improve the technology in the modern world!

Holy hell that cliffhanger.

Wireless transmission is more of a Tesla thing (he had the first rc toy, and as everyone knows he was working on wireless power transmission, and to a lesser known extent he was forming circuits that could ground to the æther instead of another object of bulk charge for 'reactionless or 'free' energy), even if the core principles were formulated by others.

In the modern day we finally see the conception of the long desired/needed Unified Field Theory, thanks to phi & incommensurability (plato), and electrical engineers of the ages.

The so-coined "electromagnetic waves" familiar to most, are Transverse ElectroMagnetic (TEM), but a real current also possesses another factor: the Longitudinal Magneto-Dielectric (LMD). Transverse waves are that which we observe the effects of, and the longitudinal dielectric is the axis in which the wave waves from. This is a coaxial circuit, which defines electricity and light, as well as sound in many ways. The TEM+LMD coherent current, where the TEM helixes around the resonating LMD -- instead of the current being pushed by the TEM only with the LMD perpendicular to the lines (as modern AC lines are set up), where you have electromagnetic retardation (the current goes slower than the rate of light induction). The coaxial helixing current can resonate to where it breaks the "sound barrier" or "light barrier" of standard luminal induction*, making it more efficient and versatile. The tesla-coil is build on this premise.

*Light does not have a finite speed, it changes depending on medium and speeds up when it gets do a less dense medium, making it a rate of induction.

Wow, I didn't expect this episode to be that touching. It's really unfortunate that Hertz passed away at such a young age...

That cliffhanger, though. Probably best episode so far.

It was about time for shit to hit the fan. Mari and her friends have been way too complacent anyway. That and the fact that Mari's dad's thinking that tampering with time doesn't affect the future makes this show all the more unbelievably dumb. Isn't he a scientist, for fuck sake?

It's time that Mari learns the true reality of society. Her father was being funded by Pompous ass, so pompous ass has the rights to all her dad's research and the time machine as well. He may be trespassing on their lab, but in the end he's only taking back what rightly belongs to him, which Mari's dad had no right to deny him of.

So Mikage busts into Eiji's lab and has Akira drop by too. And Mari disobeys her okaa-san by time traveling because she was worried that her father could also be in a situation similar to her when her compass malfunctioned. And thanks to her going to meet the dying Hertz, Mikage got access to the hidden room in the basement. Good going Mari. Now Mikage can take away all the time traveling machinery home or whatever and can also time travel.

Eiji had Hertz know that his research is going to have a lot of uses in the future. Lol Hertz was like "what kind of sorcery is this" when Eiji was taking his picture and sending it to the tablet in the next room. Now we'll have Thomas Edison next week.

About the funds , I recall some episodes back that his father managed to obtain some precious item from the past that he sold to pay something. Is he paying back the funds or something related?
Anyway that's a heartwarming moment they did there with Hertz.

It's been established by the past episiodes that butterfly effect degree is very low in their time travel and their past time travels were consistent on this. Heck they can even watch the time traveller from the present in real time so it's no big deal that her father thinks telling Hertz his accomplishments won't change the future much, in their time travel that is really the case. Her father is a scientist and probably observed the effects of their time travels to come to that conclusion unlike you

Oooh, a smartass. So explain exactly how the butterfly effect degree can be observed to be low? If I recall correctly, her dad had to step in on the cruise ship because the person who was suppose to do something significant for one of the scientists fell ill and was unable to make the trip. Not to mention all the times he keeps going into the past to tamper with other scientists just to make sure they stay their course. Why the hell would he need to do so if there was no "butterfly effect"? It's pretty obvious that things in the past they keep going to aren't working out the same as in history, which is why Mari's dad has to keep jumping back. I think that alone shows that stuff like tampering time had it's effects, and that perhaps some people are already tampering, or else why the fuck would the dad even need to go back and fix shit?

But those are just my own observations. I guess you can ignorantly believe whatever the fuck you want too.

It was heartwarming how they showed Hertz that his contribution to science mattered a lot, now the issue is that the villain discovered the machine and trapped them with his agents
