Women know what they're wearing and why they're doing it. It's never for comfort. Same reason why in shape guys wear tank tops or tight fitness clothing. It's to receive attention, to feel good when you see people noticing your physique. We put so much emphasis on the sexuality of the human body, both males and females. Which is why fitness, models and physical beauty is considered such an important attribute in our world. When we see women in booty shorts with a plump booty, and a crop top showing a lot of cleavage, we're all thinking the same thing. We're thinking about sex. "It's just a butt" or "it's just breasts" is an argument I always hear. If they were as meaningless and as unimportant as people say they are, porn, strip clubs, modeling, fitness etc etc wouldn't be as impactful on our society as it actually is. There's a reason why prostitution is the oldest profession. When we see an attractive body we start to fantasize and think about sex. No other way around it. My point being you can wear whatever you want but if you receive attention from some one you didn't want it from, or in a way you didn't want it, or are treated like a whore then just know you were asking it for it and can't blame any one but your self |

consider a woman's "promiscuity" is actually for herself—wanting to dress nice because she wants to feel confident, cool, and sexy—rather than thinking "oh today i just really want someone to stare at my ass, and treat me like meat" |

Who cares, you can objectify how much you want anyway, and have whatever opinion you like as well. Thought crime isn't a thing yet. |

At times it might not be for comfort, but most girls dress for comfort. Also, they'd dress in cute clothes, and they could wear it for themselves, or for someone else either way no wants to be objectified by random strangers. |

This man speaks the truth. If a girl wears clothes that make her look hot, she shouldn`t complain about people checking her out, because it`s nature. Science has shown that there is a tendency to always pass on traits that will increase the rate of reproduction (Sexual selection) and this is the same when a girl is displaying her tits or ass. Females do this most likely intentionally if they make them stand out through clothing. |

There's positive and negative forms of attention in this regard ;) Like you can't just go around treating women or men like dumb bimbos... you have to treat them like demi goddesses or something. And hopefully be godlike enough yourself haha. |

gr8 b8 but for what it's worth: No, women dress however they like because they want to feel more confident and cool for themselves. And no, you cannot stare at someone and make them feel uncomfortable and awkward just because you are horny af. Have some respect for others and their boundaries. You have a brain so use it instead of blaming your rude behavior on your 'impulses'. |

I personally think human sexuality is a beautiful thing and our bodies should be flaunted when they're in shape cause they're something to be proud of. After all, your body is a temple and the better you take care of it, the better impression that makes for yourself. It becomes a problem however when people are harassed for their choice to dress a certain way. That really scares people, ya know? I like to wear booty shorts all the time, but I'd be really uncomfortable if people stared at me too much or tried to hit on me. I dunno. I say live and be free. |

Sure, no one can stop you from watching. But that should be the only thing you can do. You're not an animal unable to control your instincts, you're a human being capable of rational thinking. So, just because a woman is showing her body doesn't mean you can grope her or touch her, you're in no way entitled to her body just because some parts of it are exposed. Just like you're not entitled to eat food you see just because someone is cooking it; or to take shoes from a store just because they're on a display. If people can't control their urges then they're no better than animals. |

A little lost here, who has said you can't ogle someone? Is it polite? No. Is it creepy? Yes. However I don't recall it being any type of crime. Same with opinions you form of them, if you see a person walking around in a shirt full of food stains, and a pair of sweats, you can damn sure think they are a slob even if in reality they just took part in the world's largest food fight and decided to wear some already old and torn clothing. Same with if someone is walking around scantily clad, you can even go as far as thinking "wow that person is a @#$%", nobody is policing your thoughts. However keep your hands and thoughts to yourself. |

Also I can't take you seriously when you use the phrase "she was asking for it". The body parts you mentioned do have a lot of importance in the current world, but you know, there is a difference between porn/prostitution/whatever and a girl wearing less clothes in a situation that has nothing to do with some random men. I mean, you can objectify anyone in your mind, it's not like it's forbidden. But I'm sure that some of the girls who wear stuff for attention only want others to look at them, not to get assaulted. Then again, it's just SOME girls -- the others dress up for themselves only. Either way men just have to control themselves. Literally just that. Is that so hard to do? Dressing up a certain way is not an invitation nor a permission for you to do anything, unless you're completely sure it is. Wearing something is not 'asking for it', asking for it is when she comes to you and asks for it. |

I am of the opinion that women know exactly what they are wearing, spend much time in the mirror making sure it is exact before they leave the house. I assume then, that what I see will be what she is. If she is dressed like a prostitute, then I assume she is one. If she is dressed respectable, I assume she is respectable. If she dresses like a muslim, I will assume she is one. If she dresses like a teenager, I will assume she is one or has the mentality of one. If she dresses like trailer trash, I will assume she is trailer trash. If she dresses like royalty, i will assume she is royal. I will treat all of these women differently based on the assumptions they have given me in the way they choose to present themselves. Any man with an IQ over 87 should be able to keep his thoughts and hands to himself. Women need to realize that more than half of the world's male population is under 87. Don't assume that you can dress as you wish in the presence of sub 87 IQ men and think that everything will be fine, or that other men will have to jump in and rescue you for your own stupidity. |

They have the right to be angry, considering that you're disrespecting them and dehumanizing them by making them look like tools or objects designed to surrender to the creeps who do that kind of stuff out in public. I understand someone's frustration towards the fact that someone is degrading and being all creepy towards them. Blaming the way someone chooses to wear for creepy people to oogle you and degrade you is such a dumb and ignorant argument. You're only targeting just another symptom, not the actual issue of "sick" people doing questionable things. That's the real root of the problem. Same idea applies to the media blaming violence with video games and lack of common sense when playing games such as pokemon go leading to accidents and fatalities. Crazy people in our society, man. |

Not all men are the same. Plenty of men live in the world of sports while plenty of women live in the world of glamour. If we want to be more universally objectifying and stereotypical against men, we can say that all men who wear pants below their waist are just begging to get shot by a cop. If they look like a thug committing violent crimes, then they probably are one, right? We could go on all day.
