| I didn't really like this anime since it started airing, but seeing this episode, Subaru actually learning from what he did wrong in the past and putting it into action makes the story progress at a much faster rate, and I like that a lot. I can see my self appreciating the series if it continues this way. Or it could be that Rem wasn't in this episode. |
| Finally, that fucker Betelgeuse is dead, and hopefully for good. Great episode again, but I certainly have lots of questions now: what was that spirit that distracted the "finger"? What was it that Emilia was worrying about with Puck in the mansion? And what's Ram doing in that place where Subaru has somehow ended up? I don't think she's connected to the cult, as that would make literally no sense considering everything that has come before this, but something's definitely not right there. Also, interesting how a Sin Archbishop of Pride is the only one of the 6 sins (excluding Envy, which they obviously won't take given that Satella is the witch of Envy) to have not been appointed in the cult. This is definitely one of the more painful cliffhangers so far though, that's for sure. |

| Subaru really knows his flags haha. I was thinking the same thing. Coz Betelguese seemed to have a bigger role... Maybe we were just deceived into thinking he is. Betelguese's soul won't rip! Just what is this thing... At least we get to hear the crazy voice-acting through varius voice-actors. It's glorious. Really good episode. Eh... Ram joined the enemy? Wth is happening. |

| I'm liking Tivey already, he is cool, calm and relaxed. My type of personality^^ Petelguese as entertaining as ever and the red haired finger guy/girl too. Shit goes down when he/she found out the gospel is nowhere to find xD And Wilhelm keeps up his position as best male character what a great person, Subaru is a lucky guy to have him at his side now. |

| What the fuck was that end? well w/e. that's not what I came here for. I just realized (the matter of the anime ending aside for now) we won't see the three sibling vice captains as much anymore soon D: they are the best! I'm really sad they'll have much less appearance once this is settled. Of course there is the possibility the story goes a way in which it isn't like that but I doubt it. It would be way too awesome. If it was only visible for the viewer they would have simply shown the hands but they were clearly visible because of the water that came down. |

There's been a few anime that coincided with a LN's final volume, I believe Golden Time did it. Most recently to my knowledge, Oregairu showed vol.11 before it was released. It's rare but it does happen. |

| Feels refreshing seeing Emilia and Ram in this episode, seems like a while since we've last seen them in the show. Awesome episode, and Julius redeemed himself for me, he went from my most disliked character to one of my liked characters. He's a bro! |

| Since the show likes to subvert and be meta, I was hoping the entire thing with Betelgeuse would get wrapped up anticlimactically.
