I liked Fate/Zero the first time i saw it, but the second time, i spent ALL the season 2 crying like a bitch. Went into my favourites at the speed of light.
I watched Shigatsu wa kimi no uso when it was airing, weekly, and when it finished i though it was meeeh. When i rewatched the series knowing the plot and with all the episodes together i loved it, a lot. That series works much better that way than weekly.

Overall i enjoy all good shows more the second time i watch them, because i can analize it better and catch on details. But the 2 cases i said above are the most pronounced ones.

Madoka magica, no matter how many times I rewatch it, there's still stuff that I found new and still amazes me.

Also love live, since when I watched it, I wasn't a fan so I didn't fully appreciate the episodes.

Shows such as Penguindrum, FLCL, Madoka Magica, and Ergo Proxy.

That's a sexy list, and I can't ignore that Ryuuko avatar @_@. Long live your great taste.

Usually my 10 make for better rewatches, mostly since I never rate a show 10 if it doesn't grow on me afterwards.

Definitely Madoka Magica. As you understand the show more, the more you realise how good the show is, at least in my opinion

Fate/Zero and FMAB. I missed a lot of thing when my first watch. Rewatching it makes me more understand the story.
Still waiting for Half-Life 3...

The Aria series, most notably Aria the Animation.
It got bumped up from a 8 to a 9. Watching Aria at a proper pace makes it so much more enjoyable.

First forum question that made me want to say something. Good job.

Toradora, Spice and Wolf I & II, and any of the Monogatari series.

K-On! comes to mind. After having already seen the series and then you rewatch it knowing what strong friendships the characters are going to end up having makes it even better.

I don't normally rewatch, but coming back to random skits on Nichijou whenever I'm in a bad mood makes me appreciate it more and more.

When I first watched Ouran, I really didn't like it, I think it's because I didn't pay attention. Then I rewatched and I liked it, so much I went to read the manga.
Rainbow is amazing for the sole fact that all the chapters are in alphabetical order.

I watched My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU(Oregairu) thrice! The first time, my small brain couldn't comprehend the beauty of the anime, the second time, I loved it, and the third time it really hit home!

I highly recommend this anime. The online reviews are also very good, and the ranking is pretty exemplary too!

Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The scene with Madoka's brother broke me. Also Neon Genesis Evangelion. It was my favorite before I rewatched it, but now I feel more confident that it's my favorite.

Everything else I've rewatched was stuff I'd give a 10 back then but not now. I appreciated things in them that I didn't the first time (especially FLCL and Gurren Lagann), but they weren't automatic favorites like back then (okay maybe FLCL).

I haven't rewatched many series, but probably Kokoro Connect. Now that I've watched it with a much more open mind, I ended up noticing so many different things that I didn't notice when I first watched it, so I ended up appreciating the anime and the characters much more the second time around.

I could name sooo many shows that i gained more value from after re-watching. Perfect blue is probably at the top of the list though.

I really enjoyed Black Lagoon more the second time I watched it, I never really though about some of the darker themes and the transition Rock was going through until I reached the Second Barrage in which it was touched on in a lot more depth.

I watch FLCL three times in the span of a couple weeks, since I had no idea what I really watched the first time, and after watch analytical videos on its themes and metaphors plus watching the commentary on the DVD I just grew to love it even more, so much passion and energy went into the project and the final product really shows it.

That's it. I really haven't re-watched that many anime.

Hellsing Ultimate, by a lot.
On the first watch I didn't like it too much. Actually, I rated it quite harshly despite it being one of my first anime. I thought the story was too far-fetched, mostly it was me expecting something different.
For some strange reason I felt an urge to watch it again after some time, and that time mostly for what it is incredible at - bloody action in great visual style. And I loved it.
