| Sometimes you might wonder "which random anime haven't I watched yet"? Then you could just press that random button (located somewhere on your profile) and when that random anime page is loaded, you could choose to watch that, whatever it was that poped up (School Days *cough cough*) or press the button again to randomly load another anime page and watch that instead. A button like that could help if you just want to watch something at random, or if you don't know what you want to watch, you could even make it so that it'll only pick something from your prefered genere, or filter it to only pick something on your "to watch list". |

Anidb.net already has a random anime button if you need one. You can also use MALGraph's recommendation system if you're looking for something to watch without the use of human interaction. Finally, you can use Random.org and input the lowest rank you're willing to watch (3000, for example), click the button, and see what anime is at that rank. | Situations do change over time though. The circumstances that prevented it before may not exist currently. Bringing this idea up every now and then isn't unreasonable. It's a good idea and being able to use your current lists as a filter to make sure that it only suggests thing you haven't seen yet would be really useful. I've watched a lot of anime and I can only imagine that I'd have to click the button a lot of times to get a suggestion even worth looking at. |
