So lately I've started to listening to a lot of japanese music eventhough I don't understand the lyrics, and I've begin to like the songs even more than the english ones. I was wondering are there any really good songs in other languages also?

Norwegian death metal, I don't understand a word but that shit's scary and fun yo.

I prefer English over anything else nevertheless, I am guilty of having a couple of Japanese songs on my phone though(mainly Wagakki Band, they make pretty solid stuff).I also like Russian songs performed by the Red Army Choir, I am not being an edgy "comunizm priveihls" tweeb(all political ideals are destined to fail in my opinion anyway), I genuinely enjoy those songs, one thing the communist regime definitely got right. Those march-esque songs have an invigorating vibe to them, not to mention the folk songs they also performed.Like these two for example:

I love japanese music, and listen to occasion k-pop, but I largely prefer english more. Its something I can understand well, even more so than songs in my own language.
I tend to not like most songs in my own language, they are either too soft, or too cheesy. I also very rarely listen to bollywood and hindi songs.
Though all of the songs in my phone are in english or japanese.

Definitely english for me. A few spanish songs as well. Songs in my native language are usually overly sentimental and poetic which make them a bit lame for my tastes.

Generally I'm always okay with songs in English, but mainstream Korean pop culture music is good too.

Honestly I'm open to anything in any language. I still remember my death metal/screamo phase, classical opera phase, and Finnish choral music phase, which were all basically gibberish to me since I couldn't understand a single word from those songs.

Scandinavian music is pretty good I have to say, but usually the songs that become known are in English, but there is an even greater treassure if you look up Scandinavian songs in native Scandinavian languages.

Usually I listen to songs in either English or Scandinavian. Every now and then in German, Dutch, French, Spanish or Japanese.

English naturally, as much as I love the animes it's much more fulfilling to understand the lyrics when it applies.

I listen to practically everything without paying any attention to the language used although it's nice to understand what the song is about a lot of times it's unnecessary, some good examples aside from the obvious English bands are:
sabaton (most of their songs are in English but some of them are Swedish)
rammstein (German)
galileo galilei (Japanese)
luxtorpeda (Polish)
rhapsody (most song are in English but there some Italian ones as well)
and there are obviously some song used in anime or other medium that are in different languages such as "servatne du fue" from sora no woto which is sang in French and some others I cannot think from the top of my head

In my playlist of 24 songs:
3 are English
17 are Japanese
1 is Italian
1 is French
1 is Russian
1 is half Japanese half English

Mostly Japanese, I guess. I'm fine with English music too, though. I'm not fond of music that is technically in English but is unintelligible.

It doesn't really matter for me, I just listen mostly Japanese because I'm into anime. I do find it easier to appreciate a song when I'm not distracted by lyrics, which is a plus when it comes to anime music. I don't care about lyrics, I just want the song to be fun/pretty to listen to.

given how i like more instrumental, and how most texts of songs are cliches about love or speudo-intellectual stuff,
i prefer to listen songs in languanges i can't understand, so i can just focus on the musical side of them, if they have some musicality

generally i think the best song/music is the one which can be repeated infinitely without becoming annoying
