| If he/she was half Japanese, maybe, and even then, I'm talking something fairly normal. Otherwise, probably not. That said, tons of people name their kids after fictional characters lately, particularly Game Of Thrones characters like Khaleesi, which wasn't even meant to be a name. If I were to even have a kid, I'd rather they have a somewhat unique name, rather than something common enough to be in the top 100, like my own. |
| Most anime character's name are Japanese and I see no big deal naming them after a 'beautiful' word. Of course if you name your girl Casca or your boy Femto...you would have to do a lot of explaining to them. (yes I'm aware they have independent meanings apart from the anime significance but have fun trying to explain to your kids that you named your kid after a character.) |
