Ryo did pretty good this round. The food battle was alright, not my personal favorite though compared to some of the others so far in the tournament. Akira really is a powerhouse as well. Both competitors did their best and I have to say, they are going to be tough to beat..  |

| Ryou is fucking amazing. Getting Hayama to a tie. Hype as fuck episode. Waaaay too many hints that Hayama didn't put out all his cards and was holding back for the first half of his cooking. I'd be astounded if he doesn't win this. Best thing about this episode though were Souma and Erina just sitting there and talking nonchalantly about the cooking, no blushing, no tsundere, that was very refreshing :D 1. Hayama 2. Souma 3. Ryou is my call. |

| Great episode, Did feel quite fast but good nonetheless. All the Ryo shouting this episode reminded me of Bakugou froom BnHA XD Lucky Souma sitting between Alice and Erina :3 The card game battle between Ryo and Hayama was cool, They should have referenced Yu-Gi-Oh! more overtly xD Till the end I was never able to figure out who would win, The competition is way too high among these two. If I were to choose however I think I would have picked Ryo's dish, The explosiveness of the dish would have made a real strong impact. Three way final is gonna be epic, Can't wait. Loved how when Alice remove Ryo's turban his mood changed xD That Hayama face at the end is so hype. |

 No wonder what happened, it seems that Hayama didn't lose the cool. Even when having a "duel" against person like Ryou. Unlike the judge that already lose the temper against Ryou. LOL |

| So, a three way battle at the end? Well, the opening spoilered us since the beginning, so that didn't took me for surprise. Other than that, I liked the match, was very tied up, although for one moment I believed Kurokiba was going to win (for the rule of the first one who exposes his(her dish loses), but, no, it's a tie. Liked the YuGiOh references and Hayama and Kurokiba verbal duel trought the fight. Wonder how the final match will end. I expect it to have some tension and don't have an obvious result. |

| The draw should've been expected when they started the episode by saying how Akira is guaranteed to win, if he won it would've made Kurokiba look bad. The tournament was super rushed overall, they failed to capture the intensity it had in the manga, Ryo vs Megumi was the only match they really did justice, oh well hopefully they do the finals right. I was wondering how they would do the three way panel but lmao, Tosh's artwork really enhances the manga so much. This double spread does a good job portraying the intensity of both Hayama and Ryo while showing the nonchalant attitude of Soma, what the anime studio did portrays that they don't give a fuck and just wants to rush, do a halfassed lazy job and be done with it.  |

I wish so much that Kurokiba would stop relegating himself to being this bitch Alice's sidekick. This sidekick assistant bullshit limits him from truly going after the top and it really takes points away from what should be a cool badass character. If he went lone wolf, he'd be a monster... such a shame. |

| I can't tell I was not expecting this huge battle against Hayama and Kyou-san, but and I didn't expect that one of judges couldn't choose one of them, and the Nakiri Senzaemon agreed to have a three way challenge in the finals with Yukihira, Hayama and Kyou-san!! They have 10 days to prepare themselves for the time show, and the title for the next episode sounds very interesting to imagine how is going to be.. ^.^ |

| No wonder I kept on figuring out who was familiar in this episode. Ryou's berserker mode reminded me a lot of Bakugou from Boku no Hero Academia hahaha. Doesn't help that he has the same VA for Nishinoya from Haikyuu!! too. Oh man. This series is so rushed. I'm watching just for the sake of hearing the seiyuus and seeing all the food animated. Other than that, the manga is far superior at this point. (This coming from a girl who said the first season's a lot better than the manga says A LOT) |
| The match felt rushed, though it was intense, a battle of calm and aggressive. How fan seeing Ryo, frustrated for the draw result. Hayama seems to be triggered by Ryo. The part in the VIP seat was fan too. Looking forward for the next episode. |

Seeing the speed of the episodes we're definitely finishing the tournament before the final episode so I'm wondering whether the anime will include a bit of what's next in the manga or make an original ending and cut off any chance for a third season |

| Kurokiba is ripped as hell. Alice trying to calm him down was funny. Hayama had an intense dish, but Kurokiba is not backing down. What an electrifying dish. Souma sitting between Erina & Alice. Three-way final battle in the end. This is going to be fun. Hayama's intense stare at the end. Everyone is getting serious for this final. |
