It was immature, disgusting, and offensive.

I quite liked it

Maybe I'm just tired of capeshit, but I was pleasantly surprised when I watched the movie.

I actually like Seth Rogen's brand of humor. So yeah, I might watch it.

I have yet to see it. I wanted to watch in in the movie theater, but since it most probably won't come to movie theaters in my country (which sucks big time), I'll have to download it off the internet.

I'm hoping it'll be good.

I respect your opinion as long as you respect mine.

Better than Suicide Squad, which suffered from way too much editing.

The ending was better, too. XD

Meh. This type of humor is just so predictable and unoriginal. I feel like people only find it funny because of novelty of having animated characters being vulgar.

It sounds quite awfully unfunny. Of course, it's maybe just the trailers dumbing it down, but I'm far from sold.

I'll probably rent it someday just because it's the first American R rated CGI animated movie (though technically I think the Berserk movies were the first r-rated CGI movies).

I probably won't find it extremely funny though as I usually don't laugh much at that kind of humor though but I'm still curious about it, I'm sure it will be more funny than the new Ghostbusters movie though.

the movie was too predictable, so i didn't enjoy it as much as i thought i would. and the little porno bit at the end was... interesting.

Seriously looks like the stupidest thing ever.

And I have a high tolerance for stupid. XD But food being alive is too dumb of a concept for me. Making them swear doesn't make it better.

It was a Harambe reference away from being better than Pacific Rim

The movie felt like it was just dragging on. But dear neptune, those last few minutes of the movie. ;-;

On the one hand there are people involved with the film that I personally like and I think can be funny.
But on the other hand the idea of this film sounds stupid imho.
Then again I'm not a fan of 99.99% of Shock Humor so that's just me.
But at least IMHO it would probably be better than shit like Brickleberry and Mr. Pickles.

Sausage Party being better than anime, forum topic when though?
Looks like another movie that tries too hard to be funny.

I've seen it. Sick, wrong, disturbing, full od double entendres, but hilarious. I'm hoping for a sequel, or some similar animated work by Rogen.

Was questioning my decision to watch it every second.

It was disturbing, to say the least, but hilariously entertaining. Not sure what to say about that ending though, left us speechless.

The food orgy was...an experience. Everyone should see it once just for that.

The entire room was cringing so hard.

So how did she react? Especially to that scene near the end?

I don't think she was really too amused by the orgy scene, but she was laughing through the rest of the movie.

I've never heard of this movie until googling it just now.

I was considering checking it out someday, but after reading that Seth Rogen is in it, I won't, because I hate his movies.

It was alright, not bad but not as funny as I expected. Maybe I'm just getting tired of Seth Rogen.

The food orgy was messed up in a good way though lol.

a very big let down
I had mediocre expectations of it. not a fan of CGI and generally avoid it like the plague, but I think seth rogan is an alright dude. I only ever enjoyed knocked up, and superbad very slightly

the humor was pretty predictable, I think I had 2-3 moments I thought were /actually/ funny, everything else was a chuckle so I didn't seem like a debbie downer with my friends

the way the hot dog bun was designed... that sideways mouth irks me more than it should. she was also the worst character out of the entire fling. I get that her humor was supposed to be stiff awkward funny but fuck, it was straight awful. both the sausage and bun played very typical lead roles. unimpressed

and this movie took 10 fucking years to make. 10 whole god damn years. this is what they came up with. in 10 years. I've composed essays on the nutritional value of tortilla chips better than this movie

one thing though, nick kroll. they couldn't have casted a better voice for the douche. I'll commend them on that, cus he's fucking great

I remember going to see Team America with my mother. (She had gotten advance screening tickets from work.) The puppet sex was the only awkward part.

As for Sausage Party, I found it overall "meh." I don't mind crude humor or anything, I quite like it sometimes, but, while this movie did have its funny moments, it wore out its welcome really quickly. At least Team America had the puppet gimmick to fall back on when the humor got stale; CGI just isn't impressive or charming anymore. Plus it had the songs; I can still recite "America, Fuck Yeah!" and "Everyone Has AIDS" from heart. Sausage Party is ultimately completely forgettable.
