Fullmetal Alchemist
| It's been a while since I watched FMAB. Now I'm considering watching the 2003 series. But is it really worth it? Does the plot greatly diverge from the Brotherhood anime or is it kinda the same, but with a different touch? I also see a lot of people complaining about the ending, can I expect something as good as the Brotherhood ending? Or is it just plain bad? Please, keep this spoilerless. Thanks :) |

| I haven't seen Brotherhood so I can't compare the two, but I personally loved 03. The ending is a bit sad, but the story is done very well and the anime original content is very good. It diverges at around episode 30 but many say that 03 did a much better job at the part they both adapted. It's subjective if the anime original ending is better or worse than the ending in Brotherhood, but many even claim Brotherhood was a worse adaption than 03 even though it stuck to the original story. |
