| great episode, Rem is one of the best girls, so supportive and awesome. so glad negotiations went well, Subaru is going to BECOME A GREAT HERO, HE DESERVES BETTER AFTER GOING THROUGH ALL THIS HELL! hopefully he can save Emilia, Ram, and the villagers. I ship Subaru and Emilia. |
| good episode. this one was one of those somewhat slower ones that follow a series of 2-3 incredibly intense episodes but it was still really good with it's fair share of intensity, especially towards the end. |
| After going through all that, Subaru has had a huge change in his character. He's matured a lot and also much more level headed than before. And yeah with that the battle against the white whale begins. |

If Theresia was killed by the White Whale, why wasn't she retroactively erased from everyone's memory like Rem supposedly was?
| @Archean-Return I think that is because Theresia wasn't hit by the Whale's fog, just killed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the fog makes people disappear from others' memory. |
| I have a problem with something Crusch said. She stated that the White Whale was created by the "Jealous Witch" - would that be the Witch of Envy? I'm asking this while rewatching season 1, after having watched season 2, and season 2 seems to contradict what Crusch said about the White Whale. |

| @Vitali_Osandor What Crusch said is what people know about its origin, not what really happened (which we learn in season 2). |

| The ending is so well done. Everyone on their toes, even the viewer. No epic soundtrack, no battle speech, just the sound of Subaru's ring tone followed by "Let him have it!" Eerie honestly. |
