| In episode 6, in the battle against Saunders, there's a ton of screentime devoted to Miho's left hand shaking noticeably over her thigh. The camera lingers as she notices her tremor and she grabs her shaking left hand with her right to stop the shaking. I figured, like with everything else in GuP, this was a reference to some historical figure or work of fiction. I just found it odd nobody linked, even though it's almost assuredly a coincidence, her hand tremors to Hitler's, considering how popular, tied to WWII, and already-analyzed-to-death this series is. I googled Girls und Panzer left hand tremor and did not find anyone else linking Miho's left hand tremor to Hitler's. One commenter linked it to some character from Saving Private Ryan, but with him, his right hand had the tremor, not the left. |
