| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Better than the previous episode. This one actually felt like it had more of a story rather than pure fan service. Now that the main characters are established, they are launching a campaign against their enemies. Not really impressed by the way the antagonists are presented so far though. Again, the show pushes the cryptic flashbacks so I expect that to be expanded more. Strongest point of the series is still the music, in particular with the battle segments. Character still feel pretty generic, nothing too special about them imo. Poor Canaria.. |

| So rushing into the fight and not listening to others got him and those around him into trouble. Which isn't very surprising seeing his personality it was something waiting to happen. Still this anime fails to do anything surprising i wonder if things will change next episode. Also that guy hitting the camera button was lame. |

| Nice episode, I enjoy the slice of life styled ones more, but I guess a bit of action isn't that bad. Icchan is an idiot for going alone, the others are idiots for not stopping him and ending up helping him. I still like his character though, for that matter I don't dislike anyone from the cast as of now. |

| Tbh, i feel a little bit dissapointed right now. First of all, because of the animation. just gonna be honest, this episode has a really bad animation/derp animation. and i'm very worried for the future episode and a little bit worried about the budget they have right now. i just hope this never happen again in the future. The second one and the last one is the character. i feel the characters are a little bit generic. i mean the relationship between Canaria and Ichiya. but at the same time i think it's pretty interesting because of that ending. i didn't expect that tbh. and it suprised me a little bit that Ichiya was actually asking for help. because of that, i'm kinda interested about their past even tho it looks generic. Tbh, i don't kinda understand what was going on in the first half but the second half it was starting to get interesting to the character but unfortunately the animation was getting worse. really hope they never do that again. a pretty good episode overall. in terms of development, i can say that this episode is way better than the previous one but in terms of animation, this episode is the worst imo. it looked like a derp animation. personally i don't like the animation in this episode. looking foward to the next episode. and btw, that intro, when the guy repeatedly clicking on the camera, that was hillarious xD xD well, atleast he tried the best he could but..... still failed. |

| Shit sure got real in this episode. That is one big monster. Of course Tokyo MC-kun failed bigtime by starting the fight alone, getting Canaria into that dangerous situation. I wonder what exactly happened to her... Decent episode. Music is still great to listen to. |

Love the whole ocean scene they have going on because its beautiful. |
| I was pretty sure after the 1st episode, but after 3, this has the makings to be AOTS and most likely AOTY by far, easily so. These 3 episodes alone were better than 90% of the pure shit that we had in the last 2 years. Seriously loving this anime and with it, the happiness that comes with the restoration of my hope in this medium. |

Looking at the Light novels out and looking at this here, this series is going to follow each school after couple of episodes like first Ichiya because hes the most current of the LN's Leaders, then after that probably Hime then Asuha. If it goes like that then Asuha will be rushed as fug, Unless the studio is making this anime original to support the LN's considering that making this anime on the 3 cities wont make sense when the 3rd city aka Asuha's city hasnt finished/ just got released |

| Finally,I can able to see conflicts in the show,definitely better than the previous episodes. The previous episodes are mainly characters arguments,which is extremely frustrating. |

The whole thing is indeed a joint project by the writers of Date A Live, Henneko and Oregairu under the name "Speakeasy". It's an anime original story and they are all writing on it, the novels they are publishing seperately deal with the backstories of their characters/schools as far as I've heard (no translations in sight yet). I guess this series is so much more fun when you know at least one of the authors' work and are a fan of it, also guessing who has written which episode is kind of fun aswell. :D |
| Well, I'm just gonna say it. This episode gave me the kind of "The volume is not high enough!" feelings where you just keep upping the volume as the fight goes on. Kinda fucked me when the loud ass monsters appeared though. This seems like it's going to be a turning point for the main character. As many of you have already pointed out, this will very likely become the moment where Icchan starts to rely on others, as shown in the battle. I do wonder why this show is still in the 6 this clearly deserves more than the past few shows sure its generic for now but it has quite a decent story aside from the lack of imagination on the whole enemy unknown thing.Getting 3 popular singers LISA,GARNIDELLIA and CLARIS I'm sure that in itself should boost the shows rating 7 at the least lets nots forget the people who are working on the show. |

| The plot and characters are quite generic, but honestly, nothing these days are ever 'original' so I'm fine with everything in the show. Well, everything besides the plot. Is it just me or does nothing in this show make sense? All I'm able to pick up is that there were children that woke up from a 'cold sleep' with superpowers and otherworldly beings called Unknowns that they have to fight. There are three 'schools' specialising in different areas to fight these 'Unknowns.' All I got basically...I really need to find the light novel and read it. Icchan is the main character that desires power to protect Canaria, which is overdone but I do appreciate characters like that. His stubborn and tsundere character is actually sort of cute? But, the OST is SO GOOD- I am literally watching the show for its music. I just realised that. |

| So far a bit makes sense why Ichiya has that kind of attitude, but still he overdones it, that makes it annoying. I really like he OST 10/10. Poor Cannaria, she's in a bad state. |

| I was trying to hard to give an f about Canaria's injury but I just cant , disappointed in this episode because I didnt get to see my favourites aka the Chigusa siblings. This show would have been so much better if they focused on the Chigusa siblings instead MC and his sister are boring as hell |

There are a little backstory about the mc,which they are selected from "cold factory" and they are commanders to fight the "unknowns" That's all.As you can see,the story development are still superfical. |
