No, I only recommend series that I rated 8, 9 or 10. Because for me, when I give a 6 to an anime, it means that it was just ok, not that bad but not that good too !

It depends if the person im recommending it too is looking for something specefic. If I don't like a specefic show, but the other person likes that sort of genre, I'd recommend it too them

Example.

I finish watching Gyo. I think that shit is the worst anime I have ever seen in the history of ever. My friend likes wierd shit like the stuff that goes on in the movie. I'd reccomend it too him

Maybe. Everyone has different tastes. While I rate "girls doing cute things" anime as being 6 or 5, I'm sure some people love them and would rate then 8 or so. Most anime I watch are rated 6/10 anyway, so I have to recommend SOME of them, at least.

And find your sacred heart.

I'd love to mess your pretty hair;
I'd love to see you dead!

If I think the person I'm recommending it to would be interested in it, then why not? I have this friend here who likes guns and I recommended her some Survival game anime that I scored 5,6 and 7 lol. I think she'd love it cause guns and all the other factors lol.

Yes, of course. A 6 is pretty good Everything 5+ has good quality's.
I rated KnB season 2 a 5/10 still recommend it to people.

Dagashi Kashi a 6/10 still recommending it to people
In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. Vinland Saga is epic. If you disagree you have bad taste.

6 is still "Fine", not bad.

Of course I would, but recommendations by ratings are worthless anyway, what is good/bad for me might not be the same for you.

Depends. What I think is bad or not enjoyable might be the exact opposite to someone else.

Generally I don't go around recommending them though.

I guess I sort of could.

But generally I drop anime that I think I'd rate a 6 since I'd rather look for even better stuff.

A 24 ep anime that I'd rate a 6 (e.g Darker Than Black) is probably going to be subject to my hatred too. Even though it was enjoyable.

Never recommended something like that yet but I would. Everyone has different tastes after all. I'd tell my opinion about it though.

It's not something I would actively recommend probably but I wouldn't tell people to stay away from it either. A 6 would mean I thought it was fine, but you should still be able to find something better to spend the same amount of time on without too much problem so it's not worth putting on the top of your PTW

I would. 6/10 is ok, and maybe the person I recommended the anime to will like it more than I did.

Sure. Maybe I gave it a six because it wasn't my style, but someone with different taste could like it.

If the things from the show are things that the other person likes, and there's nothing better to rec, yeah, would do.

It depends on what their taste is and what anime it is. I don't consider 6 to be a bad rating so I have recommended 6s in the past.

I don't recommend unless I know who I'm recommending to in which case I could recommend a 3. I specifically don't recommend my favourite anime to most people and my initial interest in that anime came from a friend with the EXACT opposite taste giving it a 1
Sit back, smoke up and chill to Madoka Rebellion. A truly beautiful experience that matches and perhaps even surpasses any iyashikei....provided you're at peace with it before starting XD

To me, 6s are the hardest to recommend (aside from superior sequel seasons to bad/mediocre shows) due to them not having much for me to say to get someone sold on them aside from premise, but nothing to make me recommend them to masochists, avid flaw finders, or anyone wanting something so bad it's hilarious.

Sure, if I think the anime in question would appeal to the person I'm recommending it to.
One bright day in the middle of the night, two dead boys got up to fight
Back to back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other
A deaf policeman heard the noise and came and killed those two dead boys

Yup. I find many action shows quite repetitive and not memorable so sometimes 6 is how I am going to rate them, but if someone likes action shows maybe they're able to find something in it that I wasn't.

Yes, because 6 doesn't mean it sucked. I may even think it was pretty good, just not my kind of show.

Or course, I've recommended things I've rated as low as 3 and would recommend lower, it depends on the person. I hated One Piece for example, but many love it, and after talking to the people who do and finding out why, I now know when I'd recommend it. It depends on their taste.

A rating shouldn't matter when recommending something. What should matter is who you're recommending it to, and what their preferences are. Something I dislike, someone else might love.

Anime shows I rate 8+ are ones I'd recommend to basically anyone. Any shows under that (1-7) would only be if say someone was wanting to watch specific types of anime or shows of a certain genre

I'd recommend if it was the type they'd like . Maybe anime with a score of 6 doesn't interest me much but may interest others

6 is my lowest rating, so if i did, it would be ironically
or a bit less ironically if i feel someone needs some perspective on bad shows

Sure, 6/10 is above average in my books.
I would be happy to recommend a 6 if I thought the person would enjoy it.

Probably not, unless circonstances make me think that this person will particulary enjoy it. Yet I think I'll be pretty anxious about recommending something I foud sort of average.

I'd recommend anime with 6: I enjoyed most anime with that score. They're already good-enjoyable for me while anime with higher score have better characters, development, story etc. I even recommend anime which I rated lower than 6 if I know that certain person has different taste than mine.

Well, for me a 6 is that show that was only OK. Had some redeeming qualities and I considered "worth the watch". But I wouldn't recommend a 6 rated show myself, like, if someone asked for good mecha shows for instance, I wouldn't recommend a 6, but a 7 or, more likely, the 8-10s. BUUUUT if someone asked "should I give X show a try" and X = 6 for me, I would say, "it wasn't the best, but you might like it better than me". So yea, speaking in a generic way I wouldn't recommend a 6, but if someone asked especifically about it, I probably would say to give it a shot.

Sure, why not? Maybe I wouldn't recommend it as heartily as an 8, but since a six for me still means it's above average, with a greater number of positives than negatives, then I wouldn't consider it a waste of time to watch. But I'd probably want to tailor it a bit more to the personal tastes of the person I'm recommending to.
I'd have a very hard time finding a reason to recommend a 5, on the other hand.

I would not actively recommend something i have rated 6/10. If someone is after something specific, and have exhausted superior options i might mention it.

If someone said "Hey, should I watch this show?" and I gave it a 6/10, I'd say "Yeah, check it out."

However, if someone said "Which shows should I watch?" I wouldn't recommend a 6/10.

I rated Gochiusa a 6/10, if someone likes stuff like K-On I would probably recommend it since it's the same style of show, but if someone doesn't like CGDCT anime I wouldn't recommmend it to them.
