| Last episode ended with a bang and now... yeah I'm kind of bored again with all the chit chat that I could not give two craps about. Now are we going to get a whole episode of whale hunting next...? Yay |

| Quite a disappointing episode after episode 15's amazing ending... I was hoping for the show to remain in that tone but looks like it won't be the case. To be honest, I barely understood what was going on in this episode. Or actually, I did understand the main plot point, but all this chit chat didn't manage to grab my interest, the characters aren't appealing enough. Plus, now there's something to do with a whale ? This show shifting from plot point to plot point is becoming very annoying. One thing I like though, is Subaru's development, as usual. I believe some of his reactions are sometimes a bit too forced, even for someone like him in his (awful) condition, but overall it is very well done. And as some people above me said : Subaru's bad decisions aren't due to him being dumb or weak. His mind is completely destroyed. He can't take the right decision, not in such a state. @MABfan11 ...Oh. I totally forgot about that. Well, the rest of my point still stands but okay, for that I admit I didn't pay enough attention. |

| I still feel no sympathy at all and I still hate this arc so far, but at least I did like how desperate and terrible he was at negotiations, being humbled by reality over and over again with the candidates rejecting and chastizing him through all this as his mental health quickly declines further and further through all this. He's not even thinking by this point, he's just searching for something to cling on to, makes sense given the events he went through the previous couple of episodes. |

| wow, Crusch, Priscilla, and Anastasia are ass, can't believe they didn't want to help Subaru save the villagers who are going to die by the witch cult. if only Reinhard wasn't away... but anyways, I feel very bad for Subaru and he really deserves better. he really cares about people and he doesn't want to see them die, he bonded strongly with those in the village and wants to do everything he can to protect and save them, even if he can't sufficiently compensate other people. the last part was reassuring, with Otto's guild providing transport for the villagers. crazy cliffhanger too. |
| good episode. definitely a bit of a change of pace after a stretch of very intense episode's but it still served it's purpose well. the advancement of this now pretty long on-going attempt to break free from the doom of this loop, i'm interested to see how it works out over the next few episodes. |
