Hey,

I kinda liked the first season of Shana, but the second season was just... a disaster. Couldn't finish it due to its nonsense... I'm already planning which anime I should watch next, I'm tired of Romance/Slice of life action and thought about finishing Shana...

Is it worth finishing the second season+third season to close the gap? Or should I just look for another anime? If there is anything you could recommend me I'd appreciate it, feel free to check out my list, gonna finish the "ef:" series now.

PS: I know what happens in the last scene, google accidentally spoilered it... (was LF some pictures)

I'd say, yeah, go for it. Though I felt like the 2nd season was alright and the 3rd season was unsatisfying, at least there was some closure for Shana and Yuji. Might as well see it through to the end since you're halfway there anyway

Also, Shana's a cutie

I would say the third season is the best one, it has the most character development and no fillers compared to the first two seasons.

To be really honest with you no
Shana is basically Slayers expect is more modern but it has lame characters, horrendous pacing, boring story and art/animation is not that great at all.

I know it's a bit late to say it now, but I have to agree with most people and say yes if you're looking for more action and it does fill cover quite a bit more of I guess somewhat backstory

(I might be a bit off sorry if I am it's 2:21am here and I am actually rewatching Shakugan No Shana again atm)

but anyways it beats season 1 and season 2 in the pace and action (imo but I like all 3 seasons plus OVA and movie even though the movie covers the first 9 episodes)

All the Anime's on my list are all one's I own Personal physical copies of, or have seen in theaters that I plan on buying, series that I've watched on FUNimation or HIDIVE will not be on here unless/until I have already bought it.
