| when I saw the team sheet and Per playing with 3 at the back I was worried and thought Chelsea is going to smash us,BUT Per showed he is indeed a class defender and his leadership at the back was crucial. Aside the 1st goal that was offside,we fucking deserved to win the cup. We could've easily been up 3-4 goals and that almost cost us. I'm not taking anything away from Arsenal - they were by far the better team, with bigger drive towards the trophy, won more 50/50 situations, they always were faster. They probably should have ended the match in the first half with a couple of goals difference. What I mean is taht they did not and the only goal they scored came after atrocious refeereing. That means an entirely different match. At least in the first half. You often have games where one team is clearly "better" and the other manages to win after one or two counters. Ask Pep, he knows something about that. The only factor that matters in football in the end are goals and Arsenal should have one less. In the end they deserved it, I'm just trying to point out laughable (or maybe it's at the point where we cry?) refeereing this season. In England, Spain, everywhere. It's just making me sick and it's not just about this one match. This one was just the last straw that breaks the camel's back in my case. That's where this butthurt comes from. They want to play the victim and say the tasteless Wenger Out brigade are justified, but then they'll also take ANY opportunity to be smug pricks. 2 good matches near the end of the year (vs City and Chelsea) after a soft draw of non league teams is paper over the cracks. But I did see this coming and made some money betting on them to win (also bet on them to beat City in the SF). Arsenal always play well at the end of a season after the league is lost, 3/1 odds too good to ignore. |

| I'm really happy that Arsenal won a title after a shit season. I really expected Chelsea to beat us, but I was pleasantly surprised that we won. Sucks that we didn't get to qualify to Champions, but I think we can have a good shot to win the Europa League (That is unless Bayern somehow gets knocked out of the Group Stage and faces us in the Last-16). |
