| Another weird villain, but I did find his psychoanalysis of Subaru's mental state interesting, because he perceived Subaru as faking his clearly genuine madness. Ironically, Betelgeuse likely has a more collected mind than Subaru does, despite his exaggerated mannerisms. |

I always wondered if the time in this tragedy timelines still keep going to other people even after Subaru's death, just like in Higurashi.

| @0ni_Link it's unknown yet, but in S2 "The Everlasting Contract", during the trials, Echidna made Subaru See a horrifying fate, that after Subaru's Death, time continues in that world (although it was just memories as he was undergoing trial)........BUT it was just her assumption, & she is absolutely unknown about how Subaru's Power works, cuz that's something only Satella knows & nobody has the guts to speak to satella. But for now, it's safe to assume it's the same timeline, going back & forth ...... everyone except the witches are unknown & affected by Subaru's checkpoint renew. Thr witches are unaffected & they know Subaru's Power & somehow his connection with Satella. |
