| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hm, the second cour has a very familiar with the first half imo. I like that new pink haired lady though. Actually, I think more than one new female character is introduced this episode. Lovely. The season still retains the familiar transformation of the mech police. Decent action, surprisingly, I think this was a good start for the second cour. |

| The op not bad at all. Adding some new character, especially 2 newbie joined the unit 8. The whole anime mood pretty much the same as season 1, still i like it. Lol Sena and Asami's CM is just hilarious. Wait what? Sena with his own company and Asami is not there anymore, well they will be back sooner or later anyway. Next episode we get to see a new willwear, most likely wear by the newbies. |

| I didn't really like the first season, but I liked the way it was going near the end. Seems like the second season might turn out to be better. Overall decent episode I guess. Production values seem a lot better too. OP is pretty average though. I forgot all of the character names, so I'll need to check over that :p 3/5 |

| Well I don't really which one to be focused at... The new member OR maybe that Sena's commercial. Well, no more fun for now. Aside from that director Abigail funny way of talking, it's 3 Oscars straight to the action.  That glasses really help after all. LOL |

| I dont care what anyone says, this series is enjoyable as fuck and im so happy it has a seconds season! My only problem with this first episode was that there was practically no Asami.... THAT IS NOT OKAY! |

| Really liking the girl who freaks out whenever she sees people. Good start into the 2nd cour. Still though, this show feels like it really only needed 1 cour to do its job (the ending to the 1st cour was rather conclusive). Not complaining too much though. |

| idk why I chose to pick this up again, I just barely made my way through the first cour without dropping it, but as some episodes were decent I gave it a chance But this has the same blandness as the original, only thing saving it were the new characters, Abigail is the only reason to watch this. |

| I enjoyed a lot the first season, especially the final was so exciting. I felt a little sad when they said that Asami and Sena weren't in the Unit anymore, but it also was touching and very good for this start of season... Now Sena has come back and I'm very, very happy because I think there are going to be more troubles and they'll need more people so maybe Asami comes back too. Honestly, I missed The Eighth. |

| I think this picked up pretty well. I enjoyed the first season and it looks like they'll deliver again. I'm glad Unit 8 is being treated better since they're seen as heroes now instead of screw ups like last season, and there's no more of that annoying "we aren't being granted permission" stuff that happened in practically every episode the first season. The new characters seem like they might add something too. Can't wait to see what their willwears look like when they eventually get their own. |

Why the hell would you bother with the 2nd season to begin with if that's the case? Its not like its a time reset or anything. |
| Ooooh that was a nice return of the show. It was enjoyable to watch - kinda like being home again :V Not gonna predict anything for this season, but I liked how it started. |
| First of all i enjoyed the first season of active raid as it had an interesting story, setting and a great cast of characters. The voice acting was also pretty good as well especially Asami's seiyuu Ari Ozawa who is one of my top ten seiyuus. So as a result im glad that they decided to make another season for it. From this episode It looks like the story should be more interesting due to the new villains and the inclusion of new characters should make the story much better. As long as it retains the descent story, character interaction and mecha action from the first season im fine with it |

| I'm surprised that Asami got ejected from the main cast. It seemed like the first season was building her up to lead Unit 8 in the future, but she's off on her own adventures with Unit 9. Also, are Willwares that popularly used? Seems like even civilians know how to operate them, despite their highly destructive capabilities. Yuria mentioned she hadn't worn a Willware since school training, implying she must have trained with them a while ago as a kid. That is, unless she was in some sort of military or law enforcement-related school, in which case I'd further question why she was in there at such a young age. |
