It feels like Uta Prince again with the stylistic poses. For what's worth, I guess it's a way of idol presenting themselves. I hope the music improves a bit though for the show, some of it just sounds repetitive so far. |

| Even though Goushi's attitude was a little b*tchy, I still kind of liked him. Although I was expecting a long and personal bonding moment with the heroine about why he hates idols or something. Guess that didn't happen, haha! The heroine so far has just been alright. In the first episode, she was useful but logically there was no way she should have been... this episode I felt like she ran around without doing much, but she was still kind of cute. |

| Yeah I liked this episode better than the first as well. Goushi's attitude about being an idol versus wanting to do the music he likes is quite realistic. I mean once you sign the contract to be in an idol group, you usually don't have much or any say until the group is super sensational. And even then, you probably don't have a say lol, because you have to follow your group's concept... but looks like Goushi isn't the type to be unthankful. If others put effort in for his group, then he feels obligated to do what he's supposed to do :> It turned out better in the end anyways, with the real kitty in the shoot. Too bad we didn't really get to hear THRIVE's song. I wonder their song will start on episode 5's ED? I rolled my eyes when the company president came by and lured the magazine CEO lady away though. |
| I really like the visuals for the first half of the opening ! Was kinda scared they would stick with the first episode's. Omg, I would have been sooo angry too ! That woman was acting so high and mighty... Kento saying "Nya" was definitely the best thing that happenend in this episode <3 I like him most in THRIVE, and Ryuuji in Kitakore~ I'm not sure who's gonna be my bishie in MooNs, but I have to say Tatsuhiro is quite attractive. So far I liked Kitakore's song the most. |

| I was pleasantly surprised that the episode was mainly focused on Goushi...for some reason I expected Aizome to get the spotlight. Lmao when Shuji sealed the deal with operation "seduce-the-editor-in-chief" XD Overall I liked this ep more than the last- this anime is looking like my guilty pleasure this season! Also can we just appreciate how good that ending song is...two eps in and it's already haunting my brain! |

| I actually liked the first version of the OP more, because it was less sparkly and had more fluid movements. Better than the first episode but not great, and Kitakore will always have the EDs huh, I wanted to hear more of THRIVE's song. |

| best boy kento made me scream he's just so cool >__< i really like this episode, especially that part in the end where the old guy arrived and kinda helped them out with the female editor. i think that sort of thing happens a lot in the industry (the way the man held that female editor made me think he was willing to...please her just so Thrive could get their much needed break). It did look like tsubasa was too passive but considering her past experience was with music (they previously mentioned she worked in a music store) and their problem was different i wasn't really expecting a lot out of her. i'm glad everything pulled through in the end though!! so excited for the next episode! i want to see more of kento!! |

| The fall + catch was kind of generic and so was the person running off and catching them to go back to their place before someone leaves but I think the cute poses with the cat made up for it. Freaking cute anime boys.. |

| For people picking on the fact that an idol is complaining about being an idol, the subs weren't entirely accurate, Goshi doesn't hate being an idol, he doesn't want to be an "idol-type" idol. It's probably hard to grasp if you don't follow Japanese music, but basically majority of the idol industry have a generic/cutesy pop type image that is considered the classic definition of an idol, but there are also many idol groups who will promote a cool image or actually sing genres like hiphop, EDM and so on instead, to be more unique. And you can see the kind of image he wants for THRIVE is the rock-type of idol, so it makes sense he is averse to doing cutesy stuff. -- Edit: Also for those who are interested: an explanation for B-Project being a collective group. The 3 groups are not sub-units, as you can see they focus more on their respective groups' activities and it is implied B-Project was created after. Why have a collective group? The reason is it can be really effective for promotion. Putting the 3 groups together mean that fans of each group will be exposed to the other groups, and may be attracted to become fans. If one of the groups is substantially more popular than the others it works even better. Plus a collective group is usually more attractive for television programs and other media, since your audience is going to be the fans of all 3 groups combined. For a real life example, there's a Japanese collective group called E-girls that was created to better promote the groups Dream, Happiness and Flower under it. |
