Hey everyone, so I watched the first episode and read the discussion and noticed that there was an unreasonable amount of hate for the MC.

Yes he is a prick, not denying that, and yes his "I am all we need" attitude does not endear him to anyone.

But he is not all bad, he seems to genuinely care about his sister and his actions show it throughout the episode and the threat to kill her is obviously a joke and people who seem to took it seriously look like trying to come up with new ways to hate the MC. He does care about saving the world from the unknown (though they did not seem to be much of a threat to be honest) and he does seem to have common decency, he did save the other people close by when the bridge got blown up.

On top of that he does get the backlash for acting like he does so it is another plus in my book.

Also when I first saw the black haired 207 he reminded me of hachiman and the girl a mixture of other Oregairu characters and I was pretty happy to learn that the author of it was in this collobration.

While this is not even close to my top list I would watch it.

A few minutes in I was like, is this based on a video game? Then a few more minutes I was like, or a LN? Looked it up, based on LN's produced by a game company. Lol!

As much as I like LN's, 90% of anime based on LN'S are garbage.

Pretty generic. Had some good elements, especially the music. I hate the MC, and his sister is pretty annoying. But the other faction representatives were pretty good.

Even the battles so far were lame. Definitely won't watch this weekly, but may come back and marathon it if I hear good things .

+1 for Claris!

Whenever Aoi Yuuki's character spoke all I heard was Tatsumaki.

And honestly as of now this show is undeserving of Taku Iwasaki sound track.

It looks pretty good I guess but as of the end of episode 2 nobody has done anything that makes them likeable or interesting.

We get into the battle right of the bat, it's fine and all but.. the characters are not leaving a good impression on me.
The mc needs to look into the mirror please. ughh.
Asuha is cool though, I like her for now.

Well, as far as I saw .I honestly don't know what exactly the weapons are and we have no significant clue about how the weapons abilities were arranged.

Saw HS & thought dialogues were one of the funniest this season. Triplet authors could become a better Chaos Dragon.

Lots of good OSTs, claris. Ok animation but Ange verge had better fights.
Wataru pair's my fav now, great lazy sounding va. Asuma fight style was cool & Kasumi's more like Oreki than Hachiman. Tokyo blondes both seem annoying. Canaria going full Macross idol nice song tho.

Loli idiot Saber leads Arpeggio Navy, magicians in Air Force, & gunners from an Army train. Interesting setup. Sounds like competition's more focus than surviving alien invasion.

The MC is one totally selfish b*stard and the others are way to OP.

There were some (mostly forgettable) action and a few jokes, so I'll watch a few more episodes at least. Hoping for those to be much better or else... (o.o)
