| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Some of the sci-fi tech in this series gave me a weird vibe, just by the way of their design. The episode felt like it's a bit all over the place but since it's the first episode, I think it will be explained better as time goes on. Not impressed by the character designs yet though. On the other hand, the sci-fi warfare theme works well so far with the character roles so I am alright with that element. |

| At first it feels more like a musical-type anime with some "pretty" male Idol in it. Not to mention that 6th Unit member seems to love more like "obsessed" with music that much. And their transformation suit seems pretty simple, just like in the Accel World. |

| Woah... this is new. I've never seen a show that managed to average below 6 after just the first episode. That said.... yeah, it was pretty Power Rangers-ish, and not in a good way. It feels like they tried to stuff in as much exposition as they possibly could to try and build a mystery out of the show, and failed miserably at it. Laughed so hard when he stuck his earphone jack into his hand and transformed in the OP. Get the feeling that this is gonna be more of a "Musical Power Rangers: the angst and drama-filled CW version" show. |

| There are days when I wonder how do animation studios work. Are there any QCs? Are there any people who can openly say "Hey, we done something so bad that we should never show it". I do understand budget constraints. I do understand when source lacks of originality. But wasting money to make a trainwreck of a story I do not. |
| Looked pretty typical with character design, posturing, kid protagonists etc. aimed at the normal kid audience for anime. The crappy art will lose it a lot of American fans. |
| that was rather surprising, for a reverse harem anime that is, I was fooled at first and thought the blond girl was the main female lead and that actually was surprising in a way as I'm used to girls with barely any lines or any presence in reverse harem that surprise was a happy one tbh, turns out she's a supporting character, I hope the real one won't disappoint me ! even the story was surprisng tho, I thought it was a musical at first lololol so confusing from the start, I wonder what more is awaiting us xD |

| i've been looking forward to this because of the seiyuus. i haven't played the origin game before so i have no idea what i was going to see (all i knew was it was idols and aliens?? lol) but i'm not disappointed. aside from the angst (which i dont mind) i just wish it was explained more for people like me who might be confused lol overall it was pretty fun, definitely left so many questions in my head though which i wish would be answered in the next episode!! |
| WHAT A NICE ART WOW. I didn't see that kind of animation and art since a long time. Reasonable amount of CG, vehicles l, planes, monsters are not in 3D. Well, for me it looks very good. Unlike to Taboo Tattoo for example which looks worse than shit. Story feels rushed as hell. I hate reverse harem, but It's not that bad for drop (for now) , and I hope that we get explanation in next episodes. For now, the art and animation is a enough reason to watch it for me. | The art was nice in my opinion....but the animation....woah..... When the truck went around the corner in like.....4 frames, I was thinking to myself :: Am I watching some sort of slide-show? Not to mention the whole setting of this first episode...It rushed so many thing, I don't even know where to start. And I'm not even going to try... As mentioned before, it really has a power-ranger vibe -- in a bad way. I rate this episode 4/10. But will watch episode 2 nonetheless. Everybody deserves a second chance....but if the next episode isn't much better, I'll drop this show... |

| Well, at least it's not as bad as Taboo Tattoo. I'll give both shows at least 3 eps before deciding whether to drop or keep. Their power rangers costumes could use a bit more to be interesting, but it wouldn't surprise me if they got enhanced transformations as the series goes on. I just can't figure out if they're supposed to also be a band or if just 2 of the guys just happen to have instruments. |

No, he said "sekishou" ( 紅傷) which means "red scar" -> scar red @ the other person who said the title was a typo... it's not lol. Whoever did the title must not have very good english grades and thought combining scar and red is a good idea. Too bad "scared" is another word. |

| Opening was the best thing about it but because the BFFS seiyuus Miyano and Tattsun were the ones singing. Overvall this was super confusing and chuuni, looks like this was completely original episode and the blonde girl is so out of place lol. |
