Haven't read the manga, so I'm pretty much a white sheet.
First episode looked promising, though the female mc is a little stupid. I don't know why they already spoiled how the future turned out without the letter, but maybe they will show the changes when she changes stuff in the past (present?).
Anyway, this looks good, gonna look forward to more episodes.

A great setting and premise, but I don't know if it's just me but the art for the female characters is not as good as the art for the male characters.
Is that just me? Probably.

I hope so much that this is gonna turn out badly for the characters :D Otherwise seems like really boring SOL stuff. She regrets stuff like not going for the pitching chance, and let's a friend do it? What f-ing bubble has she been living in if that's a life regret that she will remember after 10 years?? Jesus, naive af.

Storywise it was a decent episode, at first glance animation also looks good enough... But what the heck is going on with their faces sometimes?

Do you want to eat me Azu?

She look like a damn yandere in this shot. Hell, now I think I know who is the real culprit in this series.

Another feels anime...
But looks pretty good, i don't even want this to over, i already can see the feels.

I have never read Orange, but from this first episode I can tell that I'm going to cry a lot. This looks like it's going to have a sad end.

Animation is a bit... wonky but I can deal with it. This seems like a promising anime though, I have a feeling I'll need tissues for this anime later on in the episodes.

The art was kind of ... not great at times? IDK, I feel like it could have been a lot nicer >_< OP and ED were OK, but I didn't really like them. The idea of the "letter from 10 years in the future" is really interesting! I hope to see how that happened. Seems like she gets together with Suwa in the end after Kakeru dies I assume. Anyway, I thought their relationship kind of progressed REALLY quickly, since he was gone for 2 weeks and then well, apparently she fell in love after interacting with him like twice. Well, in any case, it's got an interesting premise so we'll see how this goes. Hoping the second episode picks it up a bit! :O

Extremely late view

READ THE BLOODY REST OF IT QUICKLY YOU LAZY FUCKER

Never watch Shoujos normally but heard great things about things and started it, first week feels good, crisp and smart

One problem is I know Hanazawa too well, it doesn't really feel like the character talking...it feels like the actor talking

Expected more sci-fi bits out of this show, but I feel like it's just gonna be a feels show rather than a mystery of sorts. I'll still watch it because of the concept, even if the genre of show is not the kind I'm used to.

I really hope that it's not what I'm thinking about.

Great start! I have a feeling this is just the kind of anime I like.
I really wonder what will happen if the 16-year old will change a couple of events. Maybe Kakeru will eventually make it, but I'm not sure though.

After quite some time great shoujo finally, and HanaKana is just marvellous as always.
Some cuts and angles were weird but it got better towards the end.

Now I know there is no time travel or changing the future here, it's more like her older self is just imagining what would be different if she acted differently in the past. But your past experiences and mistakes makes you into what you are now and she's got one precious little baby because of that so I really wonder why there is a regret in that.

Even now I already presume he won't be saved in the end so everything she's doing is just reconcilling with herself so she can move on. Interesting concept though, although I'm curious how many pages are actually there as it seems she wrote about every day till their graduation.

Great OP and ED, since the beginning I knew the Kakeru was going to die coz he didn't show when they were older.
Naho and Suwa is a good couple, I am happy they are together in the future...I don't know if this story line (past? other world?) will get at that moment, or if they will save Kakeru and Naho ends up with him...

Although predictable, it was still a fun watch. I smell a lot of feels incoming just from hearing the OP and ED songs.. 4/5

It was sort of interesting with the letter-from-the-future. It was about what I expected going into it.

I don't know, but to me it seemed to be very sloppily directed (that and the art seemed a bit too cliche and uninteresting to me). Somehow the first chapter worked better in the manga, but then again maybe I had too high expectations. Looking forward to the rest of it anyway.

Seems like the anime has a good premise although I think this is going to be sad. Do not really like the animation style though. The Op is nice didn't like the ED though. As soon as her future self said look after him, I knew he was dead in their time. :.( I really hope Kakeru doesn't commit suicide, but it seems it was pointing in that direction.

I wonder does Naho really understand that changing the past will change the whole future. I understand that she wants to save Kakeru, but by what cost? Maybe she'll end up together with him after saving him, and the future 10 years later won't come true. How sad would that be? I mean, she has a child then. So she really should think more carefully how her actions will affect her future.

I don't think that's mentioned in her letter.

Yes but the future Naho should have thought about it. How changing the past will affect her life 10 years later.

From what I understood,

Also, Naho is incredibly stupid.

I watch dub anime so I was waiting for the dub to watch this series. It's finally out!

I really enjoyed the first episode and wonder what will happen next. It sucks to wait for 12 weeks to finish this! :/

The female lead seems to be quite naive and good-hearted. The friendly atmoosphere is nice. The new kind is gentle and I wonder why he didn't come to school for 2 werks. Hope this series ends well :/

Seems like it's gonna be a sad story. Definitely interested after the first ep.

My only gripe is that the moment she changed anything based on knowledge from the future, the rest of the things future self have written become unreliable as this creates an alternate timeline. It's kind of a significant plothole, but I'm going to try to ignore it and see where this goes.

So I decided to give this anime a go, on a whim that is. I wanted to find out what all the "hype surrounding it was about. So after a tiring yet productive day of work, I sat down on my sofa and I literally dozed off within the first 6 mins of this episode. The dialogues were very bland and the character designs are not to my taste. It felt as if I was watching Ao Haru Ride for a moment and that isn't a good thing. If anything, Ao Haru Ride was a disaster and so painful to watch.

So far, I'm intrigued. Even though following her future self's instructions seems simple enough, I have a feeling there will be times where Naho second guesses herself and hesitates. We saw that a little in this episode, hopefully she can get over that or else it's going to lead to that future where Kakeru isn't with them anymore.

agreed. got really annoyed when she didnt listen to the very first thing her future self told her, which was to not invite him that day. that probably has a big impact on the plot considering he left school for 2 weeks

Interesting premise, that her from ten years ago is able to receive and read the letter addressed from her future self!

Oh wow. I like this a lot so far (haven't read the manga).

It's very relaxed and peaceful, ordinary :) I like it.

And guuuuurlllllll, I'd fall in love with a guy who's so observant and gives me first aid on my foot too LOL! Kakeru's adorable, saying he's the ambulance hehe =^.^=

Messi? As in the soccer player?
Holy shit at their faces. Why they so ugly?
A letter from herself?
A transfer student?
Her future self 10 years into the future?
The letter was right.
Of course she ignores what the letter says.
Kakeru didn't come to school.
Dat Engrish.
She falls in love with Kakeru? Dat letter is a bunch of fucking spoilers. Stop reading it...for my sake.
She finally decides to listen to the letter.
GRAND FUCKING SLAM!!!
Suwa has a kid in the future?
Naho is dead.

Ok start. Nice OP and ED songs. Every time they yell Kakeru, I keep wanting to say "Subete wo kakeru!"

I thought it was going to be a lot more enjoyable than what it has turned out to be but thats because I have really high expectations. The OP and ED are so nice and quite relaxing.

It was good to see Kakeru smile and the whole group together.

I thought it was very nice, and the ending music for episode 1 was so lovely nearly made my cry
