| Is it just me or does Subaru remind me a hell lot of Cross Marian...with those gun-wielding technique (as well as the SMG-calibre ability) and that the faceless character like Grave of Maria?? Well besides that rather decent showcase of skills, this episode was as generic as it could be. If it turned out to be 52-ep series I don't really think I could last all the way... 3/5 |

| They're really forcing that cliche romance in this series. I know it's one of the genres but it doesn't feel like it at all. It's the typical shounen romance but it's not tagged in other shounen series. |

| Lack of Mayura is disappointing. Watching them force these two characters together is so boring. Rokuro x Mayura is so much better. Subaru was slaying that dress at the end of the episode. Pretty sure Tatara is Kon from Tokyo Ravens. |

| So uh, training arc, I guess? Was kind of hoping rokoru to just be stupidly overpowered for the whole series, not needing any training, rather learning to control his raging power instead. Also this is not even a nitpick but for me they're introducing too many OP characters way too fast. If everyone in the show is OP, then NO ONE is OP... As long as these more light-hearted filler type of episodes are fun, I won't have many complaints. Just make it enjoyable and I'll give it a pass. Still wishing for the real meat of the show to be like that last episode. |
