| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol Natsu with a cell phone. But seriously, they made the cell phone look like a holy grail or something this episode. Or rather, a flip phone. Good for Machi though, she's happy to I'm fine with it. I think the show really has a thing to always have the camera on Machi as well especially when she's wearing cute outfits. |

Going from idol Machi to Village Wars, even Machi didn't get the point! XD Well at least someone finally hit that creep Yoshio for trying to undress her. |

| Well that's kinda understandable since she's the only one at the school that doesn't have one. And it's been a while since Machi have a scene with those Trio kid all together, which is really funny. And that Idol episode makes it more hilarious that I laughed so hard. LOL |

| finally we get to see machi in school (sort of) and really that's why she was upset and here I thought it was something more serious. I don't know why but the minute the cellphone opened I thought machi was going to transform (I've been watching to many magical girl anime's). machi's reaction to her cellphone it's adorable (it reminds me of when I got my first cellphone) although if this is how she reacts to a plain old cellphone I can't wait to see how she reacts to a smartphone. YES! we get the return of outfit #2 YES! that's really all I have to say about the second half. it really wasn't that interesting although now I want to see Hibiki in a similar outfit to Machi. also sleeping Hibiki is best hibiki. |

| -This show never fails to find a way to torture Machi-chan. -Don't know is it cute or pity seeing her and the kids making a fuss of flip-phone. -Yoshio and Hibiki won't be an item by the end of the show, or maybe even when the manga ends. |
| The first half was the funniest it's been since episode 6, and the second half was the worst it's ever been. Machi's reaction and personality change to her new cell phone was hilarious. But Yoshio is starting to disgust me. I wish he'd stop pulling Machi into his sleezy modeling/acting projects. Seeing him trying to forcibly strip Machi's clothes off was awkward. Thankfully Hibiki intervened. 3/5 |

| The first half of this episode was utterly charming, but then...what the hell? The second half was all over the place and could have been salvaged except for the recurrence of creepy perving on Machi (not just Yoshio being an idiot but also those freakjob fanboys at her idol appearance). It continues to bother me that there's a constant string of circumstances in this show (and in the manga) to get Machi in compromising positions as much as possible. This is definitely way over the boundaries of appropriateness, not just due to her "real" age, but the fact that she's drawn to look about 11-12 years old at most. and the village fight was pure filler. I was surprised Hibiki didn't start shit with them. |
| Each episode is less funny than the previous one. At least, the first part was entertaining. But the lack of technology "common sense" isn't enough material to stretch out forever like that (a few OAVs would have been enough) 2/5 I still have the intention to read some chapters once the anime is done, only because I wonder if it is as inconsistent as its animated counterpart and relies as often on certain type of scenes. |

| Natsu looked adorable after he pulled that cell phone out, and Machi just made the whole thing so much more enjoyable. I had this ominous feeling the whole time that Yoshio was going to pull some kind of crap the first half, glad it ended on a happy note for her. I haven't been able to enjoy this show much because of all the crap they put Machi through, yet the second half was total crap. Thank god Hibiki was here for that second half to help out a little. |

| Looks like Natsu's tablet is an iPad. He's an Apple fanbear. Weird yet interesting observation I had. In Japan and South Korea, I rarely see people with flip phones. Only my grandma uses her flip phone sometimes but my uncle bought her an iPhone and iPad and she uses the iPad more because it's easier for her to see the touch screen buttons than it is on the iPhone. Machi reacts way too country bumpkin-ish to a video call. Even my grandma didn't act like that when we introduced her to Skype, LINE and Kakaotalk. She learned quick and would even call me at night before going to sleep. I used to own a Samsung Galaxy Note 1 and when I went to South Korea to visit my family, they kept laughing at how "outdated" my phone was. I couldn't use my phone at all when I went to Japan unless I was connected to wifi. Almost all of my friends and family there used an iPhone. I hate iPhone. I hate Apple. Machi would be successful as an idol if she got over her stage fright. She could earn a lot of money to support her temple and Natsu too. LMAO, to think there are idol otakus in the boonies LOL |

| I had little desire to initiate this episode, given the elapsed not excellent, with regard Machi and his being so submissive before problems; instead I was amazed of how you set the story, funny and strangely different with regard machi and his aversion to progress. If they were all so far from the beginning, the series would be much more interesting and funny. Excellent set design, designs that are affected by a small decline in a while. |

Oh well, it was a funny episode anyway, it was actuelly funnier seeing them get excited about outdated phones then it probably would have been if they got excited about new Smartphones. |

| lol at the cell phone part. They think flip phones are the best thing ever but they're totally worthless without signal lol. And that ringtone was priceless, it was such an epitome of flip phone ringtones xD I know they're pretty far behind in the technology department, but this reminded me of a time when my slide keyboard phone fell out of my pocket, and this kid was like "what is that??" and I said it was a cell phone and he kid was like "that doesn't look like a cell phone!" Kids these days growing up without even knowing cell phones before iphones :p I didn't really care for the idol portion, though. Except when Natsu was taking pictures of Machi in outfit number , that was funny xD |
